A quantidade de cartas que a princípio parecem simplesmente ruins em **[Splinterlands](https://splinterlands.com?ref=underlock)** é enorme. Olhamos para uma carta, observamos suas estatísticas e pensamos: **nossa, é só isso?** Essa era a minha reação inicial ao olhar para o **[Supply Runner](https://d36mxiodymuqjm.cloudfront.net/cards_by_level/chaos/Supply%20Runner_lv1.png)** pois ele não oferecia nada de interessante para um custo 6 de mana.

Mas o post de hoje é para falar sobre como eu me arrependi amargamente desta análise inicial e explicar o porquê o **Supply Runner** ser uma carta maravilhosa. Espero que gostem do conteúdo.

## <center><strong>SUPPLY RUNNER</strong></center>

O motivo dele parecer uma carta ruim a princípio é simples: seus status são bem mediocres e ele não possui nenhuma habilidade. No decorrer dos leveis ele continua não sendo muito útil, porém tudo muda ao atingir o level 5.

Ao obter a habilidade **Swiftness** https://i.imgur.com/gzLaaQr.png essa carta ganha um enorme potencial, sendo extremamente útil para o seu time ao distribuir https://i.imgur.com/0OWQ1Do.png e permitir que suas cartas obtenham prioridade de ataque e ainda possam se esquivar melhor dos inimigos.

Já na liga prata é possível utilizá-lo no level 5, tornando-o ótimo desde as ligas mais baixas às mais altas. Se você ainda acha que esta carta não é tão forte assim, então venha acompanhar minha partida para entender o potencial ofensivo e defensivo da habilidade **Swiftness**.

## <center><strong>BATALHA DE ALTA VELOCIDADE</strong></center>

Nesta partida nós dois optamos por composições de **[Lorna]()**, mas enquanto eu foquei em buffar as unidades com o **[Silvershield Knight](https://d36mxiodymuqjm.cloudfront.net/cards_by_level/alpha/Silvershield%20Knight_lv1.png)** e controlar o campo utilizando o **Taunt** do **[Shieldbearer](https://d36mxiodymuqjm.cloudfront.net/cards_by_level/untamed/Shieldbearer_lv1.png)**, meu oponente optou por pegar assassinos velozes *(e de alto level)* e ampliar ainda mais suas velocidades com a habilidade **Swiftness** do **[Supply Runner](https://d36mxiodymuqjm.cloudfront.net/cards_by_level/chaos/Supply%20Runner_lv1.png)**.

Dessa forma ele conseguiu fazer com que quase toda sua composição conseguisse bater antes das minhas cartas, sem falar no aumento de chance dos meus ataques errarem *(e rolou bastante)*. A velocidade é um Status muito poderoso e que se for bem utilizado, ocasionará em resultados como o que será mostrado a seguir.

A habilidade do **Runner** ampliou a diferença entre as velocidades, fazendo com que minhas unidades errassem muuuuitos ataques, perdendo totalmente o potencial ofensivo que eu havia planejado com o buff no dano.

## <center><strong>LIÇÕES PARA SE APRENDER</strong></center>

Não somente nesta derrota mas em muitas outras onde o buff do **Supply Runner** fez toda a diferença, eu comecei a perceber o quão impactante era a velocidade em **[Splinterlands](https://splinterlands.com?ref=underlock)**. Depois de entender isso eu comecei a buscar composições mais rápidas, focando bastante em utilizar a invocadora **[Kitty](https://d36mxiodymuqjm.cloudfront.net/cards_by_level/untamed/Byzantine%20Kitty_lv1.png)** sempre que possível.

Menosprezar o status de velocidade pode ser um erro fatal, da mesma forma que focar seus esforços em aumentar a velocidade do seu time pode te recompensar imensamente como foi o caso da composição inimiga nesta batalha apresentada, já que boa parte do meu DPS foi reduzido simplesmente por errar ou morrer antes de atacar.

That way he managed to make almost all of his composition manage to hit before my cards, not to mention the increased chance of my attacks missing *(and it happened a lot)*. Speed ​​is a very powerful Status and if it is used well, it will result in results like the one shown below.

## <center><strong>LESSONS TO LEARN</strong></center>

Not only in this defeat but in many others where the **Supply Runner** buff made all the difference, I started to realize how impactful the speed was in **[Splinterlands](https://splinterlands.com?ref=underlock)**. After understanding this I started looking for faster comps, focusing a lot on using the summoner **[Kitty](https://d36mxiodymuqjm.cloudfront.net/cards_by_level/untamed/Byzantine%20Kitty_lv1.png)** whenever possible.

Downplaying the speed stat can be a fatal mistake, in the same way that focusing your efforts on increasing your team's speed can reward you immensely as was the case with the enemy composition in this battle presented, since a good part of my DPS was simply reduced for missing or dying before attacking.
