Who Controls Better ⚔ Splinterlands

O termo **CC** *(Crowd Control)* é muito conhecido e utilizado pelos jogadores de Mobas como o League of Legends ou Dota 2. Apesar de ser um termo que não se enquadra no **[Splinterlands](https://splinterlands.com?ref=underlock)** é possível fazer algumas correções para adaptá-lo e trazer essa estratégia para nossas partidas.

Se mudarmos o nome para **Field Control** fica mais fácil identificar como esse termo se enquadra em nossas partidas. Controlar o campo significa utilizar cartas com habilidades de suporte capazes de mitigar as forças dos oponentes ou aumentar suas próprias forças. Montar um bom time com esse foco é bastante difícil pois além de requerer as cartas certas é preciso uní-las adequadamente e prever corretamente a estratégia do oponente.

Um exemplo de carta que executa o papel de **Field Control** é a **Queen Mycelia** que em cada level ganha uma nova habilidade extremamente poderosa para aumentar sua eficiência em controlar o campo, dando vantagens aos seus aliados e dificultando a vida dos oponentes.

Imagine enfrentar um oponente que possui armadura extra, reduz a armadura do seu time, consegue curar cartas da linha de trás e ainda amplifica o dano de habilidades de reflect, é a definição perfeita de **Field Control**! Como eu disse anteriormente você precisa criar uma boa composição para conseguir executar essa estratégia adequadamente. Combinar a **Queen Mycelia** com o invocador **Mylor Crowling** e a **Prismatic Energy** fará com que você esteja completamente protegido contra dois tipos de dano. Quanto maior a liga em que você joga, mais possibilidades existirão para criar composições com esse foco. Vamos observar uma das minhas partidas para entender melhor como unir habilidades para amplificar seus efeitos.

Os dois times utilizam a estratégia **Field Control** mas há algumas diferenças sutis que fazem muita diferença. Nas duas composições o foco é em causar dano refletido amplificado https://i.imgur.com/61YdoSH.png com **Thorns** https://d36mxiodymuqjm.cloudfront.net/website/abilities/small/ability_thorns.png e **Magic Reflect** https://d36mxiodymuqjm.cloudfront.net/website/abilities/small/ability_magic-reflect.png. Na minha equipe eu optei pelo **Defender of Truth** para aumentar a armadura de todo o time afinal havia 100% de chance dessa armadura ser efetiva por causa da habilidade **Void Armor** https://imgur.com/LDmqyNV.png do invocador. Já o **Doctor Blight** e o **Peacebringer** são os **DPS** do time e precisam causar o máximo de dano possível antes de morrerem. Eu já imaginava que o oponente escolheria uma carta com **Magic Reflect** https://d36mxiodymuqjm.cloudfront.net/website/abilities/small/ability_magic-reflect.png na frontline mas se o Blight conseguisse ativar seu **Poison** https://i.imgur.com/1T3vRux.png e **Affliction** https://i.imgur.com/tcXJ3IC.png já seria ótimo para inutilizar as curas do oponente.

O adversário também optou por buffs e debuffs semelhantes entretanto o seu foco maior foi em habilidades de cura escolhendo 2 cartas com **Heal** https://d36mxiodymuqjm.cloudfront.net/website/abilities/small/ability_heal.png e 2 com **Triage** https://i.imgur.com/m56147M.png. Perceba que ambos os lados estão totalmente focados em defender, refletir, debuffar e mitigar as forças do outro mas há 1 diferença primordial que torna um time superior.

Apesar da **Queen Mycelia** ser muito poderosa o **Grandmaster Rathe** possui a vantagem de distribuir **Void Armor** https://imgur.com/LDmqyNV.png para todo o time, isso faz com que todos os danos mágicos causados e refletidos sejam mitigados pela armadura. Além dessa enorme vantagem o Grandmaster não está sujeito à morrer por ser um invocador, já a Queen apesar de toda a cura acabou sendo eliminada por seu próprio dano refletido e ao morrer a maioria dos efeitos de **Field Control** do oponente foram removidos da batalha.

O time do oponente estava muito bom mas o **Grandmaster Rathe** desbalanceou completamente a partida por causa dos dois motivos citados acima, resultando em uma vitória muito bonita para o meu time. Observando essa partida nós podemos observar como funcionam as composições focadas em **Field Control** e algumas maneiras de como executar essa estratégia. Tente sempre prever os movimentos do seu oponente para estar preparado, lembrando que cartas de **Dano Ranged** https://i.imgur.com/ZthRUla.png raramente são counteradas e podem ser uma peça chave para serem utilizadas nessas ocasiões. The term **CC** *(Crowd Control)* is well known and used by Moba players like League of Legends or Dota 2. Although it is a term that does not fit in **[Splinterlands](https://splinterlands.com?ref=underlock)** it's possible to make some corrections to adapt it and bring this strategy to our matches.

If we change the name to **Field Control** it will be easier to identify how this term fits into our matches. Controlling the field means using cards with support abilities that can mitigate your opponents' strengths or increase your own. Putting together a good team with this focus is quite difficult because besides requiring the right cards, it's necessary to combine them properly and correctly predict the opponent's strategy.

An example of a card that plays the **Field Control** role is the **Queen Mycelia** that at each level gains a new extremely powerful ability to increase its efficiency in controlling the field, giving advantages to its allies and making life difficult for the opponents.

Imagine facing an opponent that has extra armor, reduces your team's armor, can heal backline cards and even amplifies the reflect damage abilities, it is the perfect definition of **Field Control**! As I said before you need to create a good composition to be able to execute this strategy properly. Combining the **Queen Mycelia** with the **Mylor Crowling** summoner and **Prismatic Energy** will make you completely protected against two types of damage. The higher the league you play in more possibilities there will be to create compositions with this focus. Let's look at one of my matches to better understand how to unite abilities to amplify their effects.

Both teams use the **Field Control** strategy but there are some subtle differences that make a lot of difference. In both compositions the focus is on causing amplified reflected damage https://i.imgur.com/61YdoSH.png with **Thorns** https://d36mxiodymuqjm.cloudfront.net/website/abilities/small/ability_thorns.png and **Magic Reflect** https://d36mxiodymuqjm.cloudfront.net/website/abilities/small/ability_magic-reflect.png. In my team I opted for the **Defender of Truth** to increase the armor of the whole team after all there was a 100% chance of this armor being effective because of the ability **Void Armor** https://imgur.com/LDmqyNV.png of the summoner. The **Doctor Blight** and the **Peacebringer** are the **DPS** of the team and need to do as much damage as possible before they die. I already imagined that the opponent would choose a card with **Magic Reflect** https://d36mxiodymuqjm.cloudfront.net/website/abilities/small/ability_magic-reflect.png on the frontline but if Blight could activate his **Poison** https://i.imgur.com/1T3vRux.png and **Affliction** https://i.imgur.com/tcXJ3IC.png it would already be great to make the opponent's heals useless.

The opponent also chose similar buffs and debuffs however his major focus was on healing abilities by choosing 2 cards with **Heal** https://d36mxiodymuqjm.cloudfront.net/website/abilities/small/ability_heal.png and 2 with **Triage** https://i.imgur.com/m56147M.png. Notice that both sides are totally focused on defending, reflecting, debuffing and mitigating the other's forces but there is 1 overriding difference that makes one team superior.

Although **Queen Mycelia** is very powerful the **Grandmaster Rathe** has the advantage of distributing **Void Armor** https://imgur.com/LDmqyNV.png to the entire team, this causes all magic damage dealt and reflected to be mitigated by the armor. In addition to this huge advantage Grandmaster is not subject to dying for being a summoner, Queen despite all the healing ended up being eliminated by her own reflected damage and by dying most of the opponent's **Field Control** effects were removed from the battle.

The opponent's team was very good but the **Grandmaster Rathe** completely unbalanced the match because of the two reasons mentioned above, resulting in a very nice victory for my team. Observing this match we can see how the compositions focused on **Field Control** work and some ways to execute this strategy. Always try to predict your opponent's moves to be prepared, remembering that **Ranged Damage** https://i.imgur.com/ZthRUla.png cards are rarely countered and can be a key piece to be used in these occasions.
