Technically, it has been a month since this new feature was launched on the Ecency web, and I have been blogging through it every day. Believe me, writing a blog with this feature is so easy that it gives a whole different and amazing feeling. This is a major step forward in making writing on the blockchain easier, cleaner, and more intuitive than ever before!

If you are using it for the first time, it will welcome you with an easy-to-follow guide.

This new Ecency Editor is toolbox-driven. Here, everything you need is right at your fingertips. You write and preview in the same space. No more separate content and preview windows. What you see as you type is exactly what your readers will see when you publish. All this will help you to focus on making your content great.

<p style="text-align: justify" dir="justify">You know that earlier in the writing space, you used to see 2 parallel pages, in one of which you used to write the blog and in the other you used to see its preview. Now, Ecency is introducing a single dynamic view - where there will be no more separate preview pages, i.e. while you write your blog, at the same time you will be able to see how that post will look to your readers after publishing.</p>

**Let's now look at this single-view dynamic editor.**

<p style="text-align: justify" dir="justify">Below you can see this single-view editor, which is placed in the middle of the screen, and there is no other preview page here because now you will be able to do both writing and previewing simultaneously on the same window.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify" dir="justify">These are the screenshots of the time of writing this blog, in which I have written the title of this blog at the top, below which you have all the tools in one line to make your writing experience easier, cleaner, and more intuitive than ever before!</p>

**Although it is very simple, here I am showing you some editing, so that you understand the beauty of the dynamic view of this new editor.**

<p style="text-align: justify" dir="justify">So here I had to make the first line of this blog a heading, for which I simply placed the cursor on that line, you can also select it and click on the heading button shown in the screenshot above, then select the size of the heading from the dropdown.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify" dir="justify">And the next moment, that line changed into my desired heading. And while writing this blog, I am seeing exactly the same thing in this editor as my readers will see after this blog is published.</p>

After that, I will paste my link into the writing space that opens there and click on 'Enter' as shown in the screenshot and the next moment my link will be attached to the selected text.

And this too will appear to me in real time exactly as it will appear to my readers after the blog is published.

Similarly, for bold, italics, strikethrough, or code, first select your text and then either choose the option you want from the toolbar or follow [our handy keyboard shortcut guide and paragraph formatting tips](https://docs.ecency.com/publish/#paragraph-formatting "https://docs.ecency.com/publish/#paragraph-formatting") 😉

In case you prefer the old way of writing, No problem, the Classic Editor is still available. Just click on the 3 dots icon on the top right corner of this editor and continue with the old classic editor.

So this was a brief intro to Ecency's new single-view dynamic editor. I thank @good-karma and Ecency's developers because this is really an amazing feature, and I think you all should definitely try it once, it will help you focus on what matters, and take your writing experience on Hive to a whole new level.
