Genesis Mining Hacked | Fact or Fiction?

Initially, they reported they had a website problem and were working to resolve the problem. Today via a public release on twitter and on their web page, they've labeled this 'website problem' and informed us of a hack. Genesis needs to improve their way of communicating with customers, they should have sent this type of information via email and not twitter.
