Good day my fellow steemitians  today I'm going to talk about maize.
Maize is a grain pant which can come up in various colors bases on the species. Now these seeds or grains of corn contain lot of nutrient and these nutrients are found in the seeds which we commonly consume. Corn does not only taste nice, it also have some health benefits. Do you know that maize has vitamin E, A, B? Maize also has some elements which helps in avoiding constipation. People all over the world consume corn. Corn is a major food in Africa because of it's Carbohydrate.Corn has various seasons so it's not a everyday thing. In Nigeria in Edo state corn or maize is produced and harvested once a year due to the climate of the country. Now let's look at some major benefits of maize or corn.

MAJOR BENEFITS OF MAIZE :

1)Eating of maize helps in the preventing of hemorrhoids

2)Eating of corn helps on the promotion of growth. So if you have stunted Height I will advice you to start eating maize

3)I know this will shock you but consuming of corn helps in preventing cancer. Take note corn does not cure cancer but it only prevent cancer.

4)Amino acid which is the basic essential nutrients is found in maize so I will advice you to eat maize to stay in good health

5)Yellow corn protects and increase your eyes ability

6)Corn oil helps to prevent and protect the heart from cardiovascular diseases. That is to say that consuming of corn helps to protect the heart

7)Cornstarch can be used in the manufacturing of skin products which can be applied to the face or body thereby enhancing the skin color.


Now that you have known about the health benefits of corn let's now look at a quick method of preparing corn. Yummy.

               QUICK IDEAS TO PREPARE CORN :
There are basically two method of preparing corn below are them

1)Add cook corn to salads but take note that you have to add only the seeds. After that add some spices like onions, salt and pepper. Trust me you will love it

2, Just boil your corn in a pot with water and after it is ready you can mix it with butter and lime to make it taste more better and after that sit down and enjoy.
