A Good buy opportunity for $DEC - 10k Tokens stacked

Year 2022 is the [Splinterlands year](https://splinterlands.com/?ref=uyobong). There is something that makes this GameFi leader trending each week.  If its a new NFT product this moment, the next it may be a collaboration, the next it may be a market action for its asset. NFT enthusiasts just celebrated the trending Runi NFTs minted on Opensea and now its been a week long bullish run for the $DEC token- an in-game currency of Splinterlands game.

## Splinterlands' $DEC with never ending Utility!
$DEC, short for Dark Energy Crystals is the in-game currency token for Splinterlands play-to-earn game. Initially, DEC is earned through gameplay or by sacrificing unworthy cards in your collection. DEC can be used as an in-game currency in the Splinterlands shop - card packs, credits and more. During the first Splinterlands airdrop, $DEC hodling by investors was a passive earning option among Splinterlands investment alternatives. That is how I got to know about the token and started accumulating it until the $SPS airdrop was over.

$DEC was designed as a stable token within he Splinterlands game ecosystem with a soft peg of $0.001. That is 1,000 DEC for $1 USD. However, with its open trading on exchanges such as Uniswap, PancakeSwap and hive-engine, holding to the soft peg is somewhat difficult. Until last week when the $DEC started looking bullish, it was trading for half its price on the exchanges, creating huge arbitrage opportunities.

## The Bullish $DEC

Since Splinterlands still counts $DEC as a stablecoin, buying in the open market is still a profitable deal at $0.00073 still give about 36% returns if used to purchase an in-game commodity.  It's just an amazing way the Splinterlands marketing team keeps investors acoming to the game as there are lots of profits to gather. 

While $DEC may not hit $0.001 any time sooner, it remains a very profitable cryptocurrency to buy into. It is looking really bullish with 24h trading volume of about $68k in other exchanges and $60k in hive-engine. The charts are really green with tendencies of going higher in the next 24 hours.

I am looking forward to get some more Splinterlands card packs and other in-game commodities. This makes $DEC an appealing buy. I decided to buy some [10k DEC](https://hiveblocks.com/tx/91b40df16ab8bfe3840ecdef9c9bcc9a18eaa80a) this evening ahead of the end of the month splinterlands cards buy.

## HODLing 100k DEC Could be a great Investment Decision too!
Asides using DEC for in-game purchases, I look forward to HODLing 100k DEC ahead of when it hits its soft-peg of $0.001. It is possible within the month of November. The first time I did set goals to stack DEC was very successful and a profitable investment at that. It feels good to be interested in $DEC again.

I wanted to buy much more DEC than I have in my possession. It's like as if it is a guaranteed profit as we speak. But coming to the point that this sort of investments are sort of once a time opportunity. There are lots of if's and but's in this situation btw. For this purchase, I had to liquidate few of my assets. And getting them back is a challenge right now lol. But yet I am happy with this purchase. And if I get enough liquid I will buy some more before it reaches the pegged value.
