Again, Solana DeFi trading platform - Mango Markets records another massive loses worth $100M to a hack. This is happening less than a week after BNB Chain lost $100 million. According to [reports](https://decrypt.co/111727/solana-defi-trading-platform-mango-markets-loses-100m-in-hack), Mango Markets (a Solana-based platform for trading digital assets) tweeted that a hacker was able to empty funds from Mango via an oracle price manipulation. As detailed by the blockchain auditing website, OtterSec, the hacker made his way by temporarily driving up the value of their collateral and then taking out loans from the Mango treasury.

When news as this field the mainline crypto PR sites, it makes me wonder how they are all ignorant about the stability of [Hive - the everything blockchain](https://leofinance.io/@uyobong/elon-musk-to-recreate-hive-blockchain-as-x-the-everything-app). Days ago, Hive updated its codes in its 26th hardfork themed evolution yet no mainstream crypto news outlet covered it. here we are getting entertained with another Solana blockchain hack loss.

### Beware of Solana Blockchain! 
It's just a simple advice. Beware of Solana Blockchain!  Many people have their preferences and they are entitled to. However, I make bold to say that all of the dapps obtainable on Solana blockchain are here on Hive already. The safety of funds should be considered a priority and it seems the stories relating to Solana blockchain is the opposite.

### What is your First Consideration if Choosing a blockchain?
Answering the above question has become very necessary for anyone venturing into the cryptoverse or getting acquainted with blockchains with a bid to choose where to start up an investment attempt.

Many people have been lured to many failed blockchains due to manipulated asset prices or the social influence of the owner. Scarcely do many think about the **security** of their wallets. Maybe greed has always been the factor.

Choosing blockchain based platforms offering web3 financial services against traditional financial systems should have been motivated primarily due to the incessant fees, taxes and deductions made on users accounts and the users have no control over. This should therefore call for concerns on the security of a choice blockchain for an alternative financial involvement.

Beyond being the blockchain for everything and for everyone, Hive has solidly shown over the years that it is a place where security of assets is guaranteed. **Nobody is in custody of your keys!** The user is the only one to possibly compromise his keys. There have not been any reported cases of missing funds over the last years since the fork from steem, yet, nobody is talking about that.
