Hive blockchain designed as a Delegated-Proof-of-Stake (DPoS) ecosystem, allows the users to delegate their power to the witnesses by votes. The top 20 witnesses are the key determiners of the codes that the blockchain runs on per time. Hive Power is also used to share the resources of the blockchain to deserving developers and contributors through the Decentralized Hive Funding (DHF). Users that seek to contribute value to the blockchain make a proposal seeking funds based on the details of their contributions which may be development or marketing. > The more others delegate the lower the amount of Zing you earn but the total amount of delegation will then also make the Zing base price worth more. For instance at the 3.15M HP delegations right now, the base price of Zing is above 0.00366 Hive per Zing, that's still only 10% of its current price but the more people delegate the higher that base value goes.
