There is always a surge of discouragement each time the price of ~~steem~~ hive dips. It's always a great time for investors to buy more tokens while curators get more power. There is always a different feeling on the part of content creators who give in so much time to pen quality blogs. Truly, we will agree that time is priceless in itself. When one has given in some substantial time to researching and building a solid write, such expects a good pay at the end of the day.

Already, waiting for 7 days for posts to payout sometimes feel like decades especially when the post was created in the bull days and suddenly the price begins to suck towards the near payout date. I feel the hurts of the content creators because I've been there.

Some of my blogs on hive take as much as two days to complete while we also do make some quick writes in 10 minutes or so. However, rewards sometimes tend to be inversely proportional to post creation time maybe because of community, curators and other factors.

I am yet to ascertain whether the relationship between the number of posts created daily and the price of hive. I personally feel discouraged to make more posts when the price downtrends because I know, the worth of votes at such time would not be commensurate with the time given to creating the posts.

I have discovered to that Hive bear days are the best times to create contents on the hive chain as long as HBD keeps being healthy. This is because more hive and more hive power would be generated at the end of the day. The bear days would always limit the sale of tokens, thus, helping to accumulate the tokens for hopeful future bull days.


Yesterday, while checking and comparing steem and give prices for an informed buy of hive, I noticed that the my posts that paid out were still heavy in terms of Hive power. This is one secret content creators should always learn though it's hard to accept.
