It is ne thing to identify a profitable investment and another to maintain a long term profit in an investment adventure. The latter demands a careful up-to-date information on the investment which would evoke a timely response of either increasing or decreasing the volume of the asset so invested. Staying profitable in an investment career therefore requires the ability to diversify the investment since tides and falls in investments would always happen.

## Sustainable Profit is Key!

Diversification is the practice of spreading investments around more than one asset, limiting the exposure to the risk associate with one asset. This practice is designed to help reduce the volatility of an portfolio over time. Diversifying assets is one way to balance risk and reward in an investment portfolio. It is a popular opinion that getting the most of diversification benefit would be obtained by holding uncorrelated assets, or assets that move in opposite directions of each other.

As a low income investor in crypto, basically from proceeds of what I earn through engagement of the web3 community on Hive (content creation, curation returns , etc), it is easy loose all your funds for a season if the right investment decision and timely action is not taken. All of my crypto holdings have been earned and then reinvested. I would still need to take out a part of the earnings for sundry expenses and related bills (electricity, fuel, data and maintenance of my gadgets). Growing my holdings would require a lot of calculated risk.

I ventured into intentional crypto investment in 2019 after I had received some $PAL tokens as an airdrop after the launch of ```steem-engine``` then. I started out with SPORTS, MARLIAN, NEOXAG tokens and both did so well. Porting to Hive and hive-engine, my focus was expanded to include LEO, LIST, CTP, and many other tokens. With time, there was need to shake my racks and let go of some of the tokens I couldn't understand the growth roadmap of the leading team. I stocked with $LEO, $SPORTS, $CTP, SPT due to the potentials I saw in the communities and in the assets.

Fast forward to 2021, after receiving some $SPS airdrop for holding SPT stake (for curation of the splintertalk posts), I took inerest in slinterlands and finally learned how to play the game. I started stacking SPS, DEC, and when Genesis League Sports was introduced, I embraced GLX wholeheartedly. Over these years, I have reduced and increased the holdings of my tokens based on my market intelligence and I've got over 60% success in my predictions with the future of the tokens.

## Buy the Lows and sell the Highs
I learnt that investors who desire to make profits during the bull season of any crypto asset must learn to buy the dip days. The bear and bull seasons would always succeed each other. All these Hive tokens have had their highs and lows. Taking advantage of those seasons accurately defines how much success one's investment effort can yield.

$LEO has been the real deal. Glad for my decision in march 2020. It's been a fun, educating and growing ride thus far. The green days of LEO are in the future  but trusting the process and maximizing these days are key to reaping the big future. A 1 Dollar LEO is a possibility but not in 2023. I'm pushing forward to hit the 20k LEO power mark  before the end of the year as I position for the big candles that would come in 2024 and beyond.

5 Cents is by far a giveaway price for LEO, looking at the value it is giving out to Hive blockchain, its users and the big use cases for the web3 community at large. We are not taking a chill at LEO till we reach as we see the 202/2021 cycle repeat itself in a few months. Buying in bits everyday is fun and adds up significantly on the long run.

I've had my worst hit with the $GLX token. The price trajectory has faulted my predictions and perhaps because I had missed out from a safe early buy-in opportunity in the first week of its launch. Investors that had a good chunk of GLX in its first 4 weeks had made over 10x ROI before the price crashed to these lows of less than a Cent. lessons have been learnt and we look forward to the future.

I will be alternating my GLX stake earnings with SPS. That is, claim GLX staking rewards, withdraw and buy SPS for staking. This is because I think that the SPS market would rebound first and then followed by GLX and other Splinterlands related assets.

I have also really admired the BUIDLing grit of @Jongolson and his team concerning the ClickTrackProfit community and related projects. The profits may be low at the moment but the prospect of the project is huge. I see sustainability and this informs my firm hold of my CTP stake. In the next few weeks, I would need to do a 2x in my CTP holdings as I see a brighter future with the token.

## Final Thoughts
