I've been one advocate of collaboration among crypto communities. In fact, the collaboration of crypto communities would be the fastest route to mass adoption and winning the war against the ills of web2 platforms. Within the Hive ecosystem, one beautiful thing that is evolving is the collaboration of communities. With this communities share users and that further increases the investment and marketing fromts for each community. In this post, I attempt top showcase the beauty of collaboration between the @Splinterlands (a Play-to-earn gaming community and @LeoFinance (a Crypto-finance community)

I've been engaged in [Splinterlands game](https://splinterlands.com/?ref=uyobong) at a passive level for the past few months. However, it has been a profitable run especially with the SPS airdrop that I've benefitted due to my DEC and SPT holdings. With the [Splinterlands airdrop coming to an end](https://leofinance.io/@uyobong/25-days-to-end-of-sps-airdrop-what-s-your-sps-stacking-strategy) in a few weeks, I can't afford to miss stacking up related assets that would sure take a big face in the near future. Thus, I decided to purchase the Splinterlands' Summoner's Spellbook.

Opening the Summoner's Spellbook  is at a cost of $10 and there are provisions to pay with a gift card code, Paypal and with Crypto. I prefer to do it with crypto, and that with Hive or a Hive related crypto. So excitefd that there was the option of paying with the LEO Token. Nice to see another player join the actual game! The beginning is hard but you will start enjoying it a lot more once you start growing your collection and sharpening your skills.
I’ve been playing it for years and it was an insanely profitable experience.
