An assessment of the activities around LeoFinance in the first 7 days of may as captured in today's [report](https://peakd.com/leostats/@leo.stats/the-effects-of-the-new-ui-or-more-threads-less-inflation-or-leofinance-weekly-stats-05012023-to-05072023) by @Dalz  has revealed some intriguing stats that signals a big future for LeoFinanc and the leading web3 microblogging dapp.

With 33 days more to the end of the campaign where participants are printing to win a share of the $10,000 prize pool, we anticipate that the numbers can only keep increasing. ## A new ATH for number of threads.
Dalz's reported covering may 1 to 7, 2023 has revealed that a new ATH for number of threads has been set. The chart showed an aggressive growth in social activity around Leothreads since the launch of the new UI in production with a record 500 posts and 24k threads. The threads stat made a significant x3 from around 8k to 24k.

This is a big win for the 7 days old Project Blank or LeoFinance microblogging with tons of improvements and updates in the bunker. 24,000 threads submitted over the week means about 3,400 threads daily. Though it is understood that some of the threads are spam and hopefully the team is working hard to [gamify](https://leofinance.io/@uyobong/leofinance-reveals-the-true-power-of-leo-power) the experience around threads to encourage users to put up quality contents while still enjoying the fun possible.


## 5k Threads Daily In View
Following the trend in average daily thread counts, it is obvious that 5,000 threads daily is a possibility and this comes with massive benefits to individual users and the entire LeoFinance ecosystem at large.

We can vividly tell that At 5,000 daily threads count, [LeoAds revenue](https://leofinance.io/@uyobong/leoads-revenue-a-case-for-120-apy-for-usdleo-staking) would improve and that would have a resulting effect on the staking APY for $LEO token stakeholders.

I think that 5k threads would be possible as we move from 600 to 650 MAUs. I personally have a daily target of 30 threads and would hopefully scale to 50 threads daily as I adjust and give more energy to threading.

Truly, better days are ahead in the LeoFinance ecosystem and it's fair deal to jump in now either as a content creator or as an investor in the $LEO token.
