Whosoever is born of God overcomes the world, 1 John 5:4. *_1 John 5:4 (KJV)  For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith._*
The evil spirits in the world cannot torment anyone who is born of God. Satan cannot afflict the one who is born of God. So, evil spirits cannot touch anyone that is born of God.

But he that is born of God does not sin. If you are sinning wilfully, then you are not born of God. Those who are of God do not live a sinful life.

He that is begotten of God, keeps himself. He keeps himself from being defiled by the sinful ways of the world. He does not take part in every act or conversation that does not glory God. He that is born of God keeps himself away from sin.

For us to be free from the afflictions of the evil one, we must keep ourselves from the world. We must obey the commandments of God. We must turn away from every sinful work.
