What is the Best Way to Get In and Out of HIVE?

I was wondering: What is the best way to get money in and out of HIVE ... without getting stung?

Back in the days of STEEM, I was planning on using Blocktrades and a Coinbase wallet. I would then transfer money from Coinbase to my bank account.

Blocktrades is a black box that does not give information on price. Coinbase is notorious for sneaking fees into transactions. If I wanted to withdraw $10 in HIVE through Blocktrades and Coinbase, how much will I get in my wallet?

Would it be better to use a more robust path from HIVE to bank account such as bittrex?

Finally, what is the ideal size for transactions in and out of HIVE. If I wanted to transact, say $100, would I do better using multiple small transactions or one large transactions. Do transactions over a thousand dollars get better or worse treatment than small transactions?

Is it better move HIVE about as full or fractional units. If I had 10.007 HIVE to transfer, would it be better to just round to 10?

I tried one small transactions through Blocktrades to Coinbase and received only 90% of the going price of HIVE in my Coinbase account.

PS: I've been examining transactions on HiveBlocks.com . It appears that Bittrex is more popular than Blocktrades. The transactions don't show the fees charged in the transaction.

have you looked at ionomy? I'm not terribly familiar with their fees but the interface / signup was simple enough.
