 Growing up I am sure each one of us had plans of living in a beautiful mansion, driving the best of cars and travelling the world in our own private jet. Well unless you were already born with all that we all thought we would be super rich even though we didn't know exactly how it was going to happen. Years later we got caught up with endless school activities, trying to stay sane among lots of responsibilities and now we are probably living the same life our parents once lived. While many may think it's too late to change anything I dare say it is very much possible if you are ready to put in the work. 



But to be rich first you have to enrich your mind, rather than thinking of how to consume you have to start thinking of how to produce more. For example if you came about a hundred dollars what would be the first thing you do with it? Are you going to buy the best luxuries you can or you'll find ways to turn it into more. To become rich you have to learn to expand your thinking, open your eyes to opportunities around you and tap into them. Strive to find ways to increase your wealth rather than consuming it everytime. With time it becomes an habit which affects your life and directly your wealth.
You also have to learn to delay gratification, for most people just when things start to get rosy for them they are off to buy the most expensive luxuries and before you know it they are back to square one. Money that would have been reinvested to ensure steady income they spent on vanity and so wasted their opportunities. So instead invest more in that business,in yourself as well by getting more relevant skills and becoming an expert at them. At the right time when things get stable you can start to enjoy the reward of waiting without having to worry about the future because everything would be in place.


Next if you want to be rich you have to stop living beyond your means. This will only result in years of debt that you may not be able to pay off. What's the point of having these luxuries if you can't be at peace without the bank coming to sell you off. Wait until you can actually afford these things that way you can plan better for your business and it's growth. 


You also need to surround yourself with the right people, it's one reason why rich folks hang out mostly with other rich folks. The endless connections which help their business tremendously and for the same reason they go as far as intermarrying. The right connection can get your business ideas to the right tables and making money in months . Just like good investments, the right friends are good investments too. In the end no matter what you do you do it is important that you stick to the right side of the law and make sure you are comfortable with what you do.
