Having an investment is one thing almost everyone want to engage themselves with but at times, we always find it hard knowing what we should invest into and at times this always make us invest in the wrong kind of investment and along the way lose our investment. Have you ever have a one on one talk with the founders of the startup you invest with. You don’t need to meet them physically, startups now create zoom meetings, hackathons  even events or conference which you can always attend, ask questions bothering you directly and also know their plans, strategies which they have on ground in building their business, this way you can know if what they have in mind will walk in line with your goals. You will be also to do one important things which is studying the team behind the startup. You can also make research on them, visit blogs and their social handles, this way you can always stay connected.

Lastly, as an investor, you should know when to **Say No** to some investment, no matter how huge their promise is, there are lot of fake investment out there with lot of enticing offer just to make investors fall victim to them but if you don’t know how to avoid such investment, you will always  fall victim for them to prey on.
