Yeah, the story is about a lady, my very best friend during my childhood days and it was a love based accusation. Everything started some month after I notice a girl following me up and down during a church program, I really didn't know her before then but my guys alert me someone is eyeing me from afar, I looked at her then neglect her only for me to see her in the sunday school chapel the following sunday and I later found out she left her church to come to mine, I didn't know if it was love or something but within months, we started talking and we got close, we play a lot, I really didn't know how but we were fond of each other, we see each other every sunday during service and bridge practice but we only limit everything to friendship and I make sure not to cross my boundary moreover we are still very young and I wasn't interesting in joining the bf and gf relationship of those days. The way we got so close really made people to start getting confused, thereby thinking we were in love or in a relationship but I always made it clear to anyone that asked me, we were just friend even thou we play a lot and there is no crime in that. The rumour started when one of my friend (guy) confronted me and was demanding I opened up to him if we were dating or not, that was when the accusation started, I got vexed at some point because he keep pestering me about it and he didn't believe me but I wasn't bothered and within days, the dating rumour started spreading but I didn't take it as an issue to be honest until our reverend then and also out brigade captain who is my church uncle then took it serious, started questioning me and also warned me to stay away from the girl, I was young and also confused because I didn't see it as a crime trying to get close to a girl, within all the troubles i started liking the girl though but I didn't make it know or say the word to her but since people keep spreading the rumour and I was tired of explaining, I just keep shut and let everyone have their own opinion. Thing got worst when the girl grandma who she was staying with handle the matter in a harsh way, she kept reporting me to the reverend who keep monitoring us in church or any church event, it because worse when he embarrassed and shouted at me during one church program, he came outside and saw both of us sitting together while discussion with our other friends, He was like "I'm too stubborn and I don't use to hear word", since he already warned me not to see us together, upon everything, the friendship still lasted for 2years before the girl started acting up or should I say maturity started setting in and I entered the university and had to leave the town to study, then distance kept us apart bit by bit and everything started fallen apart and it wasn't as it use to be though, we both have lot of things at hand and she is married now with a daughter. I really learnt a lot though and that was when I learnt not to be bothered about what people say about you after trying to prove them wrong. There is nothing you do that can give them full satisfaction, your happiness matters. </div>
