A lot of people go into business before even taking the time out to map exactly how to keep the business afloat. It's the reason why people buy Apple products no matter how expensive or unnecessary they seem. Its that competitive edge that helps customers understand why you are different and this draws them like magnet. By communicating your business through taglines, logos, websites, designs and consistent themes you create more awareness for your business. This will not only boost your business but also create a sense of trust and loyalty in customers.

Thirdly you need to pay attention to your customers and that can be done through customer relationship management (CRM). CRM is the process of managing interactions with existing as well as past and potential customers. It uses data analysis about customer history with your company to improve business relationship with customers. You don't want just one time customers if you want your business to grow, you need to retain as much customers as possible. There are different channels you can make use of like telephone, live chats, emails and even social media. Through these channels you can understand your target audience better and how best to please them. 


Another unique way you can boost your business is content marketing. It means creating and distributing content or material online to stimulate a target audience to buy from you or patronize you.  It can be in forms of videos, blogs, articles, e-books and others. A typical example is Coke's "share a coke with" , asides stimulating people to share their time and lived ones they are selling their product. Content marketing will create more brand awareness for your business as well as boost your profit margin.
