Pensando un poco sobre la palabra "Gratis o Gratuito" vinieron a mi mente algunas preguntas como ¿será bueno obtener cosas gratis? ¿es posible que si recibimos muchas cosas gratis de forma constante sea perjudicial para nuestra vida? La verdad es que pueden existir muchos puntos de vista al respecto, pero hoy desarrollaré mi opinión.
Muchas de las cosas más valiosas en la vida son **Gratis**, como el poder respirar, ver, abrazar, besar, todos ellos son regalos indispensables con un valor infinito que sin embargo apreciamos muy poco, quizás por lo fácil o normal que es obtenerlo, es ahí donde radica el inconveniente. Así mismo ocurre la mayoría de las veces con los objetos materiales que obtenemos de forma gratuita, solemos apreciarlos casi nada.
Trabajar por conseguir lo que deseamos, necesitamos y queremos siempre será la mejor opción, es como cuando nos enseñaron de niños a estudiar mucho y esforzarnos para tener buenas calificaciones a final de año asegurándonos un obsequio especial, pero realmente no es un regalo ya que representa el fruto de tu estudio, constancia y aprendizaje en el colegio.
He escuchado a personas decir que no es bueno regalarle nada a los niños por pasar de año escolar con buenas calificaciones y aprendizaje obtenido, sin embargo para mí si es importante, indirectamente estaremos creando un hábito de trabajo y recompensa que es indispensable para la vida. En cambio lo que sí estaría muy mal es premiar a un niño por simplemente pasar de año con las mínimas calificaciones ya que para él será igual si va bien o mal pues de todas formas obtendrá su regalo.

En otro aspecto, si constantemente recibimos por ejemplo ropa gratis, ya sea porque es usada y está en buen estado es posible que creemos dependencia a ello, no digo que esté mal recibir de vez en cuando obsequios o detalles materiales de otras personas sino que el problema aparece cuando nos acostumbramos solo a recibir sin siquiera esforzarnos.
Para explicarme mejor expongo un ejemplo, si te regalan unos zapatos muy lindos es posible que lo agradezcas y te gusten, pero jamás será igual que con tu esfuerzo compres aquellos zapatos espectaculares de color negro que viste en la tienda que tanto te gusta y que estas seguro que te combinarán muy bien, por eso para mí, es mucho más gratificante comprar que obtener gratis. ¿Estás de acuerdo?
Es importante desarrollar habilidades que nos permitan desempeñarnos de forma exitosa en la vida para poder suplir necesidades, gustos y demás, también crear hábitos de trabajo y recompensas.
El recibir cosas gratis nos convierte poco a poco en personas conformistas, que piensan solo en recibir y recibir sin hacer un mínimo de esfuerzo.
Por otra parte, cuando hacemos regalos a personas queridas está bien, es normal y además expresas tu amor, sin embargo debemos siempre mantener esa delgada línea de dar por algún motivo especial que dar por todo.

Es posible que veamos en ocasiones empresas que ofrecen algún tipo de servicio o producto gratis, pero esto lo hacen con el fin de obtener más ventas, ser reconocidos, es decir es una forma de hacer publicidad. Me parece que es una buena estrategia siempre y cuando no sea de forma constante porque podemos llegar a pensar que si están ofreciendo algo gratis es porque "el producto es malo, de baja calidad o no vale la pena". Si te das cuenta a veces preferimos servicios que sean costosos porque sabemos o sentimos seguridad que será algo bueno y valdrá la pena pagar cualquier valor por ello.
En fin, queda claro que solemos valorar en gran medida todo aquello que nos cuesta, que nos impulsa a trabajar y que debemos dar dinero para poder obtenerlo, mientras que las cosas gratis puede que las agradezcamos, pero muy poco llegamos a valorarlas como se merecen.

Many of the most valuable things in life are **FREE**, like being able to breathe, to see, to hug, to kiss, all of them are indispensable gifts with an infinite value that nevertheless we appreciate very little, perhaps for the easy or normal thing that is to obtain it, is there where the disadvantage lies. The same happens most of the time with the material objects that we obtain for free, we tend to appreciate them almost nothing.
Working to get what we want, need and want will always be the best option, it is like when we were taught as children to study hard and strive to have good grades at the end of the year ensuring a special gift, but it is not really a gift as it represents the fruit of your study, perseverance and learning at school.
I have heard people say that it is not good to give anything to children for passing the school year with good grades and learning obtained, however for me it is important, indirectly we will be creating a habit of work and reward that is essential for life. On the other hand, what would be very wrong is to reward a child for simply passing the year with the minimum grades because for him it will be the same if he does well or poorly because he will get his gift anyway.

In another aspect, if we constantly receive for example free clothes, either because they are used and in good condition, it is possible that we create dependence to it, I am not saying that it is wrong to receive from time to time gifts or material details from other people but the problem appears when we get used only to receive without even making an effort.
To explain myself better I give an example, if you get a very nice pair of shoes as a gift you may be grateful and like them, but it will never be the same as with your effort you buy those spectacular black shoes that you saw in the store that you like so much and that you are sure will combine very well, so for me, it is much more rewarding to buy than to get for free. Do you agree?
It is important to develop skills that allow us to perform successfully in life to be able to supply needs, tastes and others, also to create work habits and rewards.
Receiving things for free turns us little by little into conformist people, who think only in receiving and receiving without making a minimum of effort.
On the other hand, when we give gifts to loved ones it is fine, it is normal and also you express your love, however we must always keep that fine line of giving for a special reason than giving for everything.

It is possible that sometimes we see companies that offer some kind of service or product for free, but this is done in order to get more sales, to be recognized, that is to say, it is a way of advertising. I think it is a good strategy as long as it is not constant because we may think that if they are offering something for free it is because "the product is bad, of low quality or not worth it". If you realize sometimes we prefer expensive services because we know or feel sure that it will be something good and worth paying any value for it.
Anyway, it is clear that we tend to value to a great extent everything that costs us, that drives us to work and that we must give money to get it, while the free things we may be grateful for, but very little we get to value them as they deserve.
