So before we get into the juice and recap today's awesome event... Last night @djlethalskillz and I were up in the club doing our thing. For some reason in the morning when I woke up my eyes transformed a 3 into a 5 and I thought the event was at 5pm. I woke up at 2:30pm..

This was a great session for those new to Steemit about the tools available to musicians including @dtube, @dsound and [Musicoin](https://musicoin.org). @bitrocker2020, who has been spearheading the Steemit community in Malaysia kicked off the session with a presentation about Steemit and how it works. This was followed by @djlethalskillz, who went into his story about how he got hooked on Steemit and Musicoin, of which he was recently made an official Ambassador! Congrats bro! I think all the information conveyed was received well by the 20 or so people in Yellow Hive.

All in all it was a great event and was good to see the community growing and interested in ways to take advantage of **Blockchain** technologies to empower content creators! And I can't forget the guest appearance by @calebleejl to talk about his initiatives and I also had a chance to speak about [Hip Hop the Blockchain](http://theblockchain.hiphop)!
