[ESP/ENG] En Maracaibo impulsan el festival «Ellas también juegan futsal»

Este fin de semana tuve la oportunidad de asistir a un evento deportivo esencial para quienes amamos y conocemos el deporte. Las mujeres, poco a poco han sido incluidas de manera más seguida en varias disciplinas, entre ellas el futsal.

El Instituto Municipal del Deporte y la Recreación tomó la iniciativa de impulsar el Festival «Ellas también juegan futsal», con la finalidad de promover la masificación del deporte femenino en la ciudad.

Este sábado, 24 de septiembre, se realizó dicho Festival femenino en el Complejo Deportivo Patria Joven de Maracaibo. 

Durante el torneo se enfrentaron cuatro escuelas de fútbol femenino, entre ellas: Club Generación de Relevo, proveniente del estado Falcón, Riviera, del municipio Baralt, San Javier, de la parroquia Manuel Dagnino, y la Escuela Municipal de Maracaibo de Patria Joven como anfitrión.

En la disputa se realizaron 3 juegos en round robin,  quedando como campeón la Escuela Municipal de Maracaibo con marcador 6-2 ante Baralt.

La actividad también contó con la exhibición  de la escuela León de Judá y Patria Joven, donde participaron niños y jóvenes, categoría sub-12, sub-14 y sub-16.

Esta iniciativa forma parte del proyecto de igualdad de género "Ellas también juegan futsala" encarado por la Primera Dama del Municipio, Vanesa Linares de Ramírez, quien es madrina del evento en conjunto con la concejal de Maracaibo, Victoria Silva y el Instituto Municipal del Deporte y la Recreación (IMDEPREC) como respaldo en la organización.

José Espinoza, entrenador de fútbol de salón, reveló que se aproximan más actividades para los próximos meses: La Escuela de Talento Femenino y La Liga Femenina Municipal, cuyo propósito es continuar con el proyecto mencionado para la captación de talentos. 

«La idea es darle continuidad a este tipo de actividades para dejar en alto el mensaje que queremos trasmitir sobre la inclusión femenina en el fútbol», expresó Espinoza.

Las jugadoras que participaron mostraron su satisfacción y una de ellas expresó en una entrevista que logré hacerle: «verdaderamente esta actividad nos ha parecido muy bien y nos ha reunido a todos en este lugar, damos las gracias por habernos invitado a participar, en especial desde la escuela del municipio Baralt», dijo Mayerlin Nieves, jugadora de Futsal.

Cada día vemos cómo las féminas son más incluidas en actividades y disciplinas dónde mayormente participan los hombres, sin embargo, se ha hecho un gran trabajo para que día a día se practique la inclusión.

El deporte femenino sigue creciendo y apunta llegar mucho más lejos. Lo hemos visto en competencias de alta categoría y por supuesto todo arranca desde una base, desde la formación, desde la disciplina.

This weekend I had the opportunity to attend an essential sporting event for those of us who love and know sports. Women, little by little, have been included more and more often in various disciplines, including futsal.

The Municipal Institute of Sports and Recreation took the initiative to promote the Festival "They also play futsal", in order to promote the massification of women's sports in the city.

This Saturday, September 24, the Festival was held at the Patria Joven Sports Complex in Maracaibo. 

During the tournament, four women's soccer schools played against each other, among them: Club Generación de Relevo, from the state of Falcón, Riviera, from the municipality of Baralt, San Javier, from the parish of Manuel Dagnino, and the Maracaibo Municipal School of Patria Joven as host. 

Three round robin games were played, and the Maracaibo Municipal School was the champion with a score of 6-2 against Baralt.

The activity also included an exhibition by the León de Judá and Patria Joven schools, with the participation of children and young people in the U-12, U-14 and U-16 categories.

This initiative is part of the gender equality project "Ellas también juegan futsala" ("They also play futsala"), which is being carried out by the First Lady of the Municipality, Vanesa Linares de Ramírez, who is the godmother of the event together with the Councilwoman of Maracaibo, Victoria Silva, and the Municipal Institute of Sports and Recreation (IMDEPREC) as support in the organization.

José Espinoza, indoor soccer coach, revealed that more activities are coming up for the next few months: the Women's Talent School and the Municipal Women's League, whose purpose is to continue with the aforementioned project for the recruitment of talent. 

"The idea is to give continuity to this type of activities to leave high the message that we want to transmit about female inclusion in soccer," Espinoza expressed.

The players who participated showed their satisfaction and one of them expressed in an interview that I managed to do: "this activity has really seemed very good to us and has brought us all together in this place, we thank you for having invited us to participate, especially from the school of the Baralt municipality", said Mayerlin Nieves, Futsal player.

Every day we see how women are more included in activities and disciplines where mostly men participate, however, a great work has been done so that day by day inclusion is practiced. 

Women's sports continue to grow and aim to go much further. We have seen it in high-level competitions and of course everything starts from a base, from training, from discipline. </div>

Hermosas esas campeonas, me siento muy identificado con tu publicación porque muchas de mis mejores amigas son futbolistas... definitivamente Venezuela es un país lleno de mujeres bellas y talentosas.

Aplaudo este proyecto, claro que las mujeres también juegan al Futsal, muy bueno que den esta oportunidad y que deseen seguir promoviendo más eventos de este tipo.
