Each artist has his own style that identifies him, defines him and differentiates him from other artists.
But the case of the British painter Kim Noble is truly fascinating and particular.
In his works Noble expresses a variety of styles very different from each other.
In fact, he has created works with at least 14 different styles.
The reason is that her paintings have been created by 14 of the 100 personalities that inhabit it.
Kim suffers from TID (Dissociative Identity Disorder) and is one of the patients who has manifested the most personalities as a result of her illness.
Patricia, Karen, Bonny, Hayley, Dawn, Juddy, and the disturbing Ria Pratt are just some of the people who inhabit Kim's mind and through her have created paintings of remarkable artistic quality.

Patricia, Karen, Bonny, Hayley, Dawn, Juddy, y la inquietante Ria Pratt son solo algunas de las personas que habitan en la mente de Kim y a través de ella han creado pinturas de una notable calidad artística.

🔵I must confess that I have always been interested in psychiatric issues and all the pathologies that the human mind can suffer from Multiple Personality Disorder, as it was formerly called, is what I find most fascinating.
Several people inhabiting the body of one.
Each with different temperaments and ideas, generally dissociated from each other, although there are cases in which the different personalities that a person manifests merge into one or are subordinated to the control of the most dominant personality.
Patients suffering from this disorder have generally suffered continuous and very traumatic abuse and mistreatment during their childhood, causing a division of the mind to erase these terrible memories and thus protect themselves.
The result is the manifestation of different personalities that act as a kind of protective shield behind which the patient's true personality is hidden.
In general, the multiple personalities do not remember the traumas experienced by their host, however there have been cases in which some personalities or the most dominant of them do remember it, and can even relate in the third person the events experienced by their recipient.
The person with TID faces a difficult and confusing life as their personalities can manifest themselves several times a day.
In addition, on many occasions some of these personalities can be violent and hostile, endangering the patient's life.
However, Kim Noble's story has quite particular nuances.
Like almost all TID patients, Noble had a childhood plagued with abuse, mistreatment, and traumatic events.
He developed the disease during adolescence and went through various treatments and therapies.
One of these therapies was to express their emotions through drawings, since then 14 of the 100 personalities of Kim began to create paintings each with its own style.
According to the style of painting Kim can recognize which alter ego a specific painting has painted.

🔴Debo confesarles que siempre me han interesado los temas psiquiátricos y de todas las patologías que la mente humana puede padecer el Trastorno de Personalidad Múltiple, como se le llamaba antiguamente, es el que me parece más fascinante.
Varias personas habitando el cuerpo de una.
Cada una con temperamentos e ideas distintas, generalmente disociadas una de las otras, aunque hay casos en las que las diferentes personalidades que manifiesta una persona se fusionan en una o se subordinan al control de la personalidad más dominante.
Los pacientes que padecen este trastorno generalmente han sufrido abusos y maltratos continuos y muy traumáticos durante su niñez, ocasionando un fraccionamiento de la mente para borrar estos terribles recuerdos y así protegerse.
El resultado es la manifestación de diferentes personalidades que actúan como una especie de escudo protector detrás del cual se oculta la verdadera personalidad del paciente.
Por lo general las múltiples personalidades no recuerdan los traumas vividos por su anfitrion, sin embargo se han registrado casos en que algunas personalidades o la más dominante de ellas si lo recuerda, y hasta puede relatar en tercera persona los acontecimientos vividos por su receptor.
La persona que padece de TID se enfrenta a una vida difícil y confusa ya que sus personalidades pueden manifestarse varias veces al día.
Además en mucha ocasiones algunas de estas personalidades pueden ser violentas y hostiles poniendo en peligro la vida del paciente.
Sin embargo, la historia de Kim Noble tiene matices bastante particulares.
Como casi todos los pacientes de TID, Noble tuvo una infancia plagada de abusos, maltratos y eventos traumáticos.
Desarrollo la enfermedad durante la adolescencia y pasó por diversos tratamientos y terapias.
Una de estas terapias consistía en expresar sus emociones a través de dibujos, desde entonces 14 de las 100 personalidades de Kim comenzaron a crear pinturas cada una con estilo propio.
De acuerdo al estilo de la pintura Kim puede reconocer cual álter ego han pintado un determinado cuadro.

🔵But the most overwhelming paintings are those made by Ría Pratt, a 12-year-old personality with severe signs of sexual trauma.
His pictures always show disturbing images of children being subjected, abused and tortured by adults. The figures are not defined, Pratt's work is characterized by capturing only silhouettes, in bright colors, starring in quite questionable situations.

🔴En los cuadros creados por Juddy, una personalidad que dice tener 15 años y padecer trastornos de alimentacion, generalmente se aprecian imágenes de chicas languidas y muy delgadas con expresión de tristeza en sus rostros.

🔴Pero las pinturas más sobrecogedoras son las realizadas por Ría Pratt, una personalidad de 12 años de edad con severos signos de trauma sexual.
Sus cuadros siempre muestran inquietantes imágenes de niños siendo sometidos, abusados y torturados por adultos. Las figuras no están definidas, el trabajo de Pratt se caracteriza por plasmar solo siluetas, en colores vivos, protagonizando situaciones bastante cuestionables.

🔵Most of Noble's works are in England, at the Henry Boxer Gallery, but he has also had exhibitions in other parts of Europe.
Noble's multiple personalities not only made her an artist but have also been involved in other aspects of her life.
When Kim was pregnant with her daughter Aimee, Dawn became the dominant personality and took care of the girl, until social services decided to take her away.
