***On Peugaga*** (Acehnese) is a wild aquatic plant, known in its binomial nomenclature 'Centella asiatica'. The main ingredient of Aceh's culinary delights ***Sambai On Peugaga***.

> *In Indonesia, the leaves are used for sambai oi peuga-ga, an Aceh type of salad, and is also mixed into asinan in Bogor. We love this one too and yes, I eat it often here in Thailand!  English speaking people call it pennywort, although in Ayurveda it's called Gotu Kola.  I Thai we call it (transliterated) "Bai Bua Bok".  And yes, exploding everywhere during the rains.

I consume that, generally we can only get them for sale in the month of Ramadan. I can only buy it 1 month in a year, it has become a tradition in our place.
