You're right. It is both scary and fascinating to watch AI, robotics, blockchain and the other emerging tech as they change the world right before our eyes.

But I don't want to just watch. I want to tap into those trends and be involved.
But how?

That's my goal with this project - create a community-owned media, a DAO-based network around those topics and then figure out the best way to build tech products, startups, invest, etc. E.g. a digital startup accelerator supporting young entrepreneurs.

That's the beauty of a media project - it creates a favorable environment to build additional businesses and products on top of it. Plus, it gives you the authority to talk to anyone which means access to influencers, capital, partners, etc.

It used to be that unless you're the military as you say or have access to large capital, you couldn't be part of something like that.
But that's no longer the case. Thanks to plummeting costs of computation, easy access to capital, technologies like blockchain and others, today a kid in a garage can build an app which disrupts billion-dollar industries. Think of Uber, Airbnb, etc.

That's what gets me excited. And I think Steem is a perfect platform to innovate and build on top. Good examples abound. :)

- "Would you provide material for us to listen?" - Yes, it's the streaming from a tech event that runs through Aug 22. I'll send you the recording.

- "when does this offer end" - Over the course of a week from today, roughly.

- "what "ingredients" you have on your mind." - I mean those bits of info that you will note down from the talks/discussion that we could use to write articles based on them.
E.g., think about a potential article's headline. "Is this info interesting enough to make a good article headline?"
Needs to be something new as of today, not old or general stuff.

Good Example: Company X to launch new AI in 2020 to disrupt ... industry.
Bad example: AI will revolutionize the world

- "Would you expect us to make some draft" - no draft at this point. Just verbatim what the speakers said at the conference (if you believe it's newsworthy).
The easiest way to explain is: imagine you're a reporter at the conference and you're on the hunt of new and exciting stuff to report on.
Listening to the speakers, what news would you report on? Identify those bits of info, data, products, discoveries, concepts, etc. and note them down. 
(I'll provide you with a template) and get paid for your work.

Later, after that's done, if you think you could write an article based on them, let's talk separately.

- "what is your budget for those kind of tasks" - depending on your involvement and experience, we have different tasks, so let's talk if you're interested. We have a budget for content, editorial and marketing tasks, so please let me know.

Hi @intellihandling and thanks for checking the site out. You're absolutely right. I'm starting to produce new content just now, so the site is still in pre-launch. That's where I'm looking to tap into the power of the Steem community.
I've been in media for way too long to fool myself that pulling off a project like this is a piece of cake. Creating content is a very resource-intensive task. Creating good content even more so.
Regarding trolls, yeah you're right. I guess there are some in every group. The thing is being able to weed them out somehow. That's where the help of people like all of you comes in very handy.
