Using Food You Grow to Add to Your Meals

**This is a vegan meal (I will be using my rice cooker) but anyone is welcome to check it out and try it. Prep time was about 10 minutes, cook time was about 30-40 minutes.**

**Let's start out with the ingredients I used, I will show them in photos:**

### Jasmine rice will be part of our "base"

### Lentils will also form part of the base

### I'm also throwing in a handful of veggie rotini

### Oriental Style Veggies (will use the sauce included)

### Mrs. Dash Chicken No Salt Seasoning (no chicken, it's used to season chicken)

### This is where my homestead comes in. I'm using one pad of home-grown prickly pear cactus.

### Handful of Katuk Leaves

### Chaya aka Tree Spinach! (Must be boiled)

### Handful of Moringa Leaves

### Last ingredient is the sauce. Comes with the frozen vegetables

### Only ingredients are soy and wheat. Actually very tasty!

**I love using this rice cooker because you literally throw everything into it with water, plug it in, and it does the rest! I got mine at Kohl's like 3-4 years ago for $20!! Still works perfectly. I consider it a great investment.**
