A sculpture that doesn’t know what it wants to be

<p>In yesterday’s post “<a href="https://steemit.com/art/@vermillionfox/watercolors-and-pencil-sketches"><em>Watercolors &amp; pencil sketches</em></a>” I spoke about a sculpture that I was working on. Well, here it is so far! It’s changed directions and now I think that I may know what it will become but who knows, it could shift and morph into a while new thing.&nbsp;</p>
<p>I did a couple of time lapse videos and then made them into quick gifs. I’ll upload a full video of a different sculpture when I’ve got better lighting.</p>

<p>I forgot how long it takes to work the clay and I laughed about the time I wasted recording it.</p>

<p>At this stage the clay looked like a smooth pebble.</p>

<p>I started adding strips of rolled clay and my first idea was to turn this into a plant of some sort.</p>

<p>Then I decided to start adding clay to form a face. I threw on some ears and this is what it looks like now. I still don’t know where I’m going with it but I’ll be continuing this sculpture tonight.&nbsp;</p>
<p>I was at an eye appointment earlier and had my eyes dilated for a test. It’s still hard for me to see, let alone write up this blog post but I’m getting it done somehow.&nbsp;</p>

may i know what materials are used for your sculpture art @vermillionfox 
I have trouble using wax toys for my work.
i need a bit hard material.

This is sculpty clay which can be hardened by baking in the oven.
