Painted sketch- trying something new

<p>Hello, Steemit! I started this sketch yesterday not really expecting it to turn out as well as it did. I was messing around on the Procreate App using unfamiliar tools and mixing colors gradually to my liking. It's interesting how an image magically comes together when you invest less in it [or maybe it's just me because I obsess over minor details]. Any-who, I've got screenshots of each layer I used- check that out below.</p>

<p>I know what you're thinking.. this sketch looks real [like it would using traditional materials on paper]. These images were drawn with an Apple Pencil on the iPad Pro using the Procreate App. I recommend that you test out the Apple Pencil at your locat Apple store if you haven't already.</p>

<p>At this stage I was deciding if I should continue using paint tools or going back to pencils. [My comfort zone]</p>

<p>Building up the colors and layers started to remind me of what I do with colored pencils and I took my time patiently making mistakes until something turned out right.</p>
