 With these Wednesday walk, I want to tell you about Bulgarian village Mutenitsa.  [//]:# (!pinmapple 42.50653 lat 24.61408 long d3scr) With @nanast and more friends we had a great bike ride in the village.   The village is located in a mountainous area in southern Bulgaria, in the southern foothills of Sredna Gora.    The altitude at which the village is located is between 395 and 455 meters.     Passing through the village we saw preserved but also destroyed houses.          In the center is the church of the village "Saint Great Martyr George the Victorious" - a Christian temple, the construction of which began in 2010. It was built entirely with donations.   Next to it, on one side there is a large stone fountain, and on the other side there is a children's playground with a gazebo.   Here is the town hall building, which is reached by high stairs.   We saw a huge rosemary bush.  Farming, fishing, animal husbandry and beekeeping are developed in the village.     There is a convenience store in the village which is well stocked and from which we received good service.   The village is a starting point for mountain routes - the Fenera and Chivira huts are nearby, and the two nearby dams are tempting for fishing enthusiasts.  There are extremely interesting rock formations and Thracian sanctuaries in the area, and due to the unique mountainous terrain, a [24-hour mountain bike marathon](https://peakd.com/hive-163772/@vesytz/cycling-in-24-hour-mutenitsa-marathon) is held here every year.
