These days, with @nanast, @fog043 and other friends we visited the Romanian city Brasov. Located in the very center of Transylvania, surrounded by the beautiful Carpathians, we had the opportunity to walk and touch the culture and rich history of the city.

In the morning we arrived by car from town Rashov.

We found parking spaces and the first big building we saw was Drama Theatre Sica Alexandrescu.

We continued to the central streets of the city.

We saw a square with many pigeons.

Big buildings and wide streets that, for a Saturday, were not overflowing with traffic.

We entered a pedestrian area and at every step I looked with interest at the architectural details of the buildings, the cozy cafes and the interesting sign designs.

The high peaks of the Carpathians towered in the distance, filling the background with their majestic position.

We passed through the narrowest street in the city&nbsp;and the narrowest street in the Balkans -&nbsp;“Strada Sforii”.

The first written information about the street dates from the 17th century. Mainly at that time it is used to provide quick access to firefighters.

The alley is about 80 m long, and its width varies between 111 and 135 cm.

There are 27 windows in the alley, each of which had an important function.

> In the event of a fire, ropes were hung from the windows, along which residents of the neighborhood lowered buckets of water to the firefighters. That's how the name of the street came about - "Rope Street".

The walls of the buildings on both sides are painted entirely.

We exited the narrowest alley and continued our walk through the city.

We continued to one of the most impressive religious buildings in Brasov - the Black Church.

The building is the largest Gothic style building in Romania.

The name Black Church was given to the building after it suffered a big fire.

Opposite its entrance is a cozy gallery with wonderful art objects. From there we bought tickets to enter the church.

We continued our journey to the main square - Sfatului Square.

A huge space with historical buildings, offices, shops, restaurants. It was seething with life.

With my friends we had a nice time at the local establishment, enjoying the atmosphere.
