Yes folk @vibeof100monkeys it well and truly back on the #walkwithme tag 👏🏼. ## So where too this week? **Elterwater** is where a my was it a cracking stroll. Getting out and into nature does wonders for the mind, and now that the UK weather is ~~warm and~~ dry the regular strolls can commence. Located in the Lakes this walk is fairly low level compared to some of my recent ones but still high enough to get the calves aching and heart pumping. We conquered two small wainwrights Black Fell and Holme Fell, in addition to these delights there are two glorious waterfalls and who doesn't appreciate a waterfall? And as that isn't enough we add in Cathedral Cave! It's stunning. So folks lets get walking then: *We start with some typical Lakes hill, were in for a good one here*  *A friend exhibiting a beautifully formed bridge*  *Then the first waterfall, with a traditional old man in situ*  *Another older but equally impressive bridge*  *A cracking view whilst having a pitstop break*  *We enter the woods (ooh I love this part) then ascend Black Fell; the views at the top are stunning*   *Then is back down and into the woods of the woolly cows, never seen a cow like it before*  ### This walk has so much to give were only half way folks take a wee break, we stopped at a stunning lake  *Off again we head back in to the woods (epic walk, two woods), with some lovely waterfalls*  *Passing the woolly sheep and more woolly cow's (I tell you it's a first for me too), not forgetting the tree roots that look like a man reading a book*  *We find some stunning views off Coniston Water the third largest lake in the lakes*  *Then we stumbled upon an old quarry, with extremely steep sides. There was the inevitable pretending to go close to the edge games responsible adults play*  *Lastly we walked into Cathedral caves, simply stunning*  *I spotted this in the cave and had to add it in* #### And that folks it a wrap as just after this point we found a cake stall with carrot cake !!!! That looks amazing! You should put it on the [SteemitWorldMap](http://steemitworldmap.com/). I've only been to the Lake District once in recent years (and a couple of times when I was a child). I went there with a scrambling group a couple of years ago and we did Jack's Rake, ScaFell Pike and Helvellyn - brilliant fun. I love the woolly cows - I've never seen those before either. Very pretty. Quite different from our Hairy Coos. And those caves are incredible. Definitely a walk to bookmark.

The Hairy Coos are amazing. They are very docile (unless you pay too much attention to their young). Jack's Rake is just brilliant if you enjoy scrambling (if you don't like scrambling I'd give it a miss!). To use the SteemitWorldMap, just go to the website and zoom in on the location of your trip. Click the "Code" box, enter the title of your post, click on the location and you'll be given a code to copy. Then you insert that code in your post. It doesn't show up in the post, but it alerts the SteemitWorldMap team and they will make sure your post is linked to the map and will also give it a mention in their TravelDigest, which can bring a lot of upvotes.
