I'm Erakora Oghenekevwe victory but I'm known as @vic2ryx here in this platform. I'm a newbie here on hive and I'm so excited and privileged to be applying for this initiative programme as I can't wait to be part of this great development..

##### **MY THOUGHTS ABOUT THE NEWBIES INITIATIVE**

For me, this is an awesome project and kudos to the team behind the newbies initiative programme. Without being told I know that this newbies initiative programme promises to be a challenging, educative and an explosive mechanism for growth and right now I'm in dire need of this opportunity to have a grasp of the knitty gritty involved in building and upgrading my skills as a blogger and how the hive blockchain works.

I would really want to grow on hive and as well for other newbies to grow on hive also. In this vein, I plead with the newbies initiative to give considerations to newbies that will apply for the newbies initiative. It would really be a thing of joy to be enlisted in the initiative as this would be a huge stepping stone for me not only to hone my writing skills but also to be a better person both on hive and the world at large.

##### **MY PURPOSE OF JOINING THE NEWBIES INITIATIVE**

Well, my sole purpose of joining this newbies initiative programme is anchored on the quest to know and learn everything there is to learn about being a great writer  and also about this hive platform. This initiative is an avenue to learn from the best and If there's anything I love at this point in time then it should be LEARNING. 

I find writing fascinating because it is a means not just to express yourself but also to influence others and this is a path I feel I'm part and parcel of. I wouldn't say that the hive platform is confusing because I haven't explored as much as I would and of course this is my first time blogging and as such I expect things to be a little bit unstable but nonetheless I believe everything will be awesome when every piece of the jigsaw is put together and I know for a fact that this newbies initiative programme will do just that.

##### **MY HIVE REPUTATION AND POWER**

As at now, my Hive reputation is 48 and my HP is 7HP. It is my utmost desire that with the help of this initiative, i would be able to build  momentum and also  improve on these aspects.

##### **MY WRITE UPS**

My writing focuses majorly on whatever I'm passionate about. I love to write about motivational and inspirational topics, I love to write about cheerful moments, I love music a lot so I guess I would be writing on it as well and  also dropping some singing sessions but most importantly I love to be free and to flow like water as this would allow me to write what comes to mind at every given moment. 

I see myself writing on varieties of topics and genres as I get more matured and understand the concepts of what writing entails. I was very happy after I wrote my introductory post. It was a big moment for me and I was ecstatic even though I haven't made my mark after that due to the fact that I lost focus and was distracted a little bit from my vision and purpose I guess, but with the support of my friends and my very own loved ones @merit.ahama and @davidbright who have always believed in me from the onset and have guided me in ways that I could ever imagined, I want to say that I'm back to do that which I feel is my mandate and that is to be of service to mankind through inspiration and upliftment.

I'm so grateful to @aliento and @starstrings01 and all the great minds that came together decide to give us the newbies the opportunity to grow ourselves in this way.
