"DARTH VADER" WATERCOLOR VERSION

Esta pieza fue realizada con acuarelas sobre papel fabriano de alto gramaje. 
   La saturación del color es difícil de lograr en acuarela debido a sus niveles naturales de opacidad, siendo este un reto para logar una imagen lo mas vivida posible . Trabajar con acuarelas requiere cierta capacidad de predicción, saber como reaccionara el agua y sus caprichos sobre el papel, y aprender a observar que tan hidratado esta el pincel al momento del contacto con la capa pictórica.  En lo particular prefiero que el agua y el pigmento me ayuden a darle carácter a la pieza, esto muestra mas soltura e interpretación, en lo particular creo que buscar la perfección con este pigmento en particular , de cierto modo es anular lo que lo hace realmente especial, y me refiero a esos matices involuntarios que el agua suele crear. Gracias a quienes se detuvieron un momento a leer este articulo y a observar esta pintura.

This piece was made with watercolors on heavyweight Fabriano paper.
   Color saturation is difficult to achieve in watercolor due to its natural levels of opacity, making it a challenge to achieve the most vivid image possible. Working with watercolors requires a certain ability to predict, knowing how the water and its whims will react on the paper, and learning to observe how hydrated the brush is at the moment of contact with the paint layer. In particular, I prefer that the water and the pigment help me to give character to the piece, this shows more ease and interpretation, in particular, I think that seeking perfection with this particular pigment, in a way, is nullifying what really makes it special, and I mean those involuntary nuances that water often creates. Thanks to those who stopped for a moment to read this article and observe this painting.
