<p>Today I am here with the intention of expressing the gratitude I feel towards #hive for being part of my life for a year now, because that's right, today I am already celebrating a year within the blockchain, and although it may not seem like a big deal, considering the people who have been here for many years now, for me it has been 12 months of experiences, learning and evolution, every day proving to myself that at my age, 69, I am capable of joining social networks, updating myself and dedicating myself to creating content, being part of a universe that before I only dared to contemplate from the outside.

>Hoy estoy aquí con la intención de expresar el agradecimiento que siento con #hive por formar parte de mi vida desde hace un año, porque así es, hoy estoy cumpliendo ya un año dentro de la blockchain, y aunque no parece ser gran cosa, tomando en cuenta las personas que están aquí desde hace ya muchos años, para mi han sido 12 meses de vivencias, de aprendizaje y evolución, cada día probándome a mi mismo, que a mi edad, 69 años, soy capaz de incorporarme a las redes sociales, actualizarme y dedicarme a la creación de contenido, formando parte de un universo que antes solo me atrevía a contemplar desde afuera.</p></div>

<p>A year ago my wife @carmen1659 was the one who encouraged me the most to create an account on #Hive, and in the process my daughters @bethyjade and @mairene1 helped me a lot, since obviously I am a bit clumsy in that matter, yes, they were days in which I dedicated myself to observing the way they made their posts, how they used the layout codes and how they uploaded the photos, sometimes they laughed because I am one of those people who likes to write down in a notebook step by step the whole procedure, but that was the way in which I was able to learn and later dare to upload my content for the first time, something that made me feel proud, satisfied and happy with my own progress.

>Hace un año mi esposa @carmen1659 fue quien más me animó a crear una cuenta en #Hive, y en el proceso me ayudaron mucho mis hijas @bethyjade y @mairene1, ya que obviamente soy un poco torpe en ese asunto, eso sí, fueron días en los que me dediqué a observar la manera en que ellas hacían sus post, como usaban los códigos de maquetación y como subían las fotos, a veces se reían porque yo soy de esas personas a las que les gusta anotar en un cuaderno paso por paso todo el procedimiento, pero esa fue la forma en la que pude aprender y posteriormente atreverme a subir mi contenido por primera vez, algo que me hizo sentir orgulloso, satisfecho y contento de mis propios progresos.

<p>From that moment on, hive made me feel renewed and excited. When I go out for a walk or do an activity at home, I think about sharing it with others. I'm always looking for ideas for new posts, and that keeps me motivated. I also really enjoy reading other hivers' stories, learning about their experiences, and learning from them. It's enriching for me.</p></div>

>A partir de ese momento hive me hizo sentir renovado y entusiasmado. Cuando salgo de paseo o hago alguna actividad en casa pienso en compartirlo con los demás, siempre estoy en la búsqueda de ideas para nuevos post y eso me hace sentir motivado, además disfruto muchísimo leer a otros hivers, conocer sus experiencias y aprender de ellos, es algo enriquecedor para mi.

<p>The monetary rewards that I have been able to obtain thanks to hive and of course thanks to God, obviously are a great motivation, I won't deny it, they have given me a lot of happiness, I have even been able to buy things that I needed and that otherwise I would not have been able to buy, having an extra source of income is a wonderful thing, especially when they come from your effort and creativity, but beyond that I am pleased to feel motivated to improve every day, I do not see other hivers as rivals that I should overcome, but as a learning channel and an example, the competition is really with myself, and I am happy to say, without false modesty, that I feel that I have evolved in this short time, I feel more confident in myself when it comes to creating my publications and I am no longer afraid of making mistakes, I learn from my possible mistakes and I propose to improve every time, look for new things and enjoy the experience of being a content creator to the fullest.</p></div>

>Las recompensas monetarias que he podido obtener gracias a hive y desde luego a Dios, obviamente que son una gran motivación, no lo negaré, me han brindado mucha felicidad, incluso he podido comprar cosas que necesitaba y que de otra manera no hubiese podido comprar, tener una fuente extra de ingresos es algo maravilloso, sobre todo cuando provienen de tu esfuerzo y creatividad, pero más allá de eso me complace el sentirme motivado a mejorar cada día, no veo a los demás hivers como rivales a los que yo deba superar, sino como un canal de aprendizaje y un ejemplo, la competencia es en realidad conmigo mismo, y me alegra decir, sin falsa modestia que siento que he evolucionado en este corto tiempo, me siento más seguro de mi mismo a la hora de elaborar mis publicaciones y ya no tengo miedo a equivocarme, aprendo de mis posibles errores y me propongo mejorar cada vez, buscar cosas nuevas y disfrutar al máximo la experiencia de ser un creador de contenido.
