 Chinese movies are always so much more different than that of their Western counterparts. The feel and how things play out seems to be so much more sentimental and touching than Hollywood. At least to my own perception. During the weekend, I had the chance to watch a movie called "Do You Love Me As I Love You?". Though we were 10 minutes late, we got in just in time to see the lead male character, Li confess to his love interest that he loves Song. That was the beginning. Song fell in love with Tian because of how he was taking care of her mother without her own knowledge. Tian was hoping to do something good for her mother without revealing to Song that he was helping until the nurses told her about him. Li has a female best friend, Tian that is Song's roommate. Song is also Tian's best friend. Tian gets caught in a fight leading to an accidental kiss from Tian. From then on, Li is confused about their relationship. Still, very soon, the Li goes into a relationship with Song. One day, all of them go into a bar and another fight erupts, where Li is hospitalized. Song tells Tian not to disturb Li anymore and that now they are a couple, she should disappear from her life. But eventually, Li leaves song to be with Tian with a sweet happily ever after ending. ## Good People Good people always think about the happiness of everybody else, sacrificing their own needs for others. Tian loves Li, but knew that he loved Song very much. So, she decided to leave him in order for Song to be with him. Yet, when Song discovers that Tian was who Li loves the most, she makes the decision to leave him, so that Tian can be with him. We love to see people in their best behavior. We always admire those that are able to live good lives and be morally upright. I love to see people who are good and thinking about others more than themselves. It makes me want to be like them and follow their example. ## Verdict I thoroughly loved the movie and had a moment where tears flowed from my eyes. It's just nice to go to the moved and cry once in a while. It just feels good. I never really watch Chinese movies. But I know BaeBear loves to watch Chinese soap operas. So, I thought this would be of interest to her and it really was. From now on, whenever there is a romantic movie to watch especially that is Chinese, I'll not hesitate to watch it at the cinema. I am giving this movie a 10 out of 10. If you can, do watch this movie because it is just plain good romance. If you are a guy that wants to bring your gf for a movie, this is it. Should you think twice to bring your gf? No. Now go buy the tickets to watch it in Malaysia cinemas before it is too late! Though most people will agree that good guys are usually boring and lifeless, doing very mundane stuff.
