Ich habe Windows seit Jahren den Rücken gekehrt. Wenn man keine Abhängigkeit von bestimmten Programmen hat, kann ich das nur empfehlen. zT ist es amüsant zu sehen, wie sich alles entwickelt. Noch viel zu viele Kunden eifern dem Hersteller nach. Irgendwie passt da was nicht.

Alleine schon, dass ich eine Software nicht mehr kaufen kann, finde ich total schräg.
Spätestens wenn man die AGBs von Microsoft Produkten anschaut (die ziemlich häufig geändert werden, aber in den Kernaussagen gleich bleiben), sollte es im Hirn einen "Error-Blitzschlag" geben.

I haven't tried it but I don't think it makes sense. The increase in price is too high and I don't think they are adding enough value to match that price increase. I guess a lot of people will still pay for it because they are use to using Microsoft software.

I am not happy with the idea of the rebrand as it push people to subscribe to Copilot

Erst mal zum Preis, für Chatgpt plus zahle ich auch 20 € im Monat, da sind die 30 € für den Copilot nicht weit weg.

Ich kann im Prinzip auch nur für den echten Copiloten sprechen, da das andere wie du schon sagst nicht so optimal funktioniert wie andere Lösung. 

Aber der Copilot im Office 365 integriert funktioniert sehr gut, da er ja nur mit firmeneigenen Daten arbeitet. Mein Hauptanwendungsfall ist in Microsoft Teams, Besprechungen danach zusammenfassen und das zweite ist Outlook um E-Mails zusammenzufassen, mein Tagesablauf zu strukturieren und neue E-Mails besser zu schreiben, als ich es selbst könnte.
Der dritte Anwendung ist halt Firmen Daten, die im OneDrive oder SharePoint legen zu befragen und mir daraus Details zu erarbeiten, ohne alles lesen zu müssen. 

Aber was wirklich verwirrend ist, die Namensänderungen, da komme selbst ich durcheinander……und ich hab täglich damit zu tun.

I don't think they should push it as hard especially because there are many people who have no use for any of that. My mom is a teacher and uses Microsoft Word to make the written tests for her students. She's used to Microsoft Word and doesn't want to adapt to a different Word like the free versions that exist. She's close to retirement anyway, no point in getting used to a new tool. She would have no use for copilot or anything like that. Thankfully she still has a version that was just pay once and own it, which will last her until she doesn't need it anymore. The government doesn't pay the teachers for these tools that they need to do their jobs. Instead they let teachers borrow a laptop with that stuff installed but it didn't take long to get so slow that working in that junk makes you grow 1 year older per minute. And they don't replace or fix it!

That is actually a very bright development for the company 

I think the rebranding of microsoft just makes people pay more money to them
