Are You One Of Those Authors Who Earn More LEO Than HIVE? - I Just Realized I'm Almost One of Them!

Most of the top authors of @leofinance earn majority of their post rewards in LEO. I have seen cases where 90% or more of the earnings are coming from LEO. I think this is an incredible showcase of the power of a strong community and I feel very good about my initial thoughts regarding the still undelivered Smart Media Tokens.

SMTs would have helped created even more communities like @leofinance I have seen few other great communities like #STEM #SPT #BATTLE etc. But they have not achieved what LEO has managed thanks to the creation of a larger ecosystem around the token.

Both my 30 day and 7 day rewards from HIVE and LEO have almost been on par with each other. I post on multiple front ends such as @dbuzz and @peakd Therefore I can safely say that when I post on @leofinance I earn more LEO than HIVE on average. Even a slight price increase of LEO will inaugurate me into the club of authors who earn more LEO than HIVE.

this is really interesting and i am currently watching what's about to happen. The only thing that i am afraid of and i have said this before is the reasons that some of the people are coming here.

Sure we are all care about the money but the community is the reason for example i stay. I see these hardworking guys and wanna support them be hardoworking as well. If money is the only reason that people come in here, i honestly don't want them cause i know that if the price gets a small decrease they will leave

We have already seen those who came for STEEM leave when the bear market came. It's their loss. I'm not worried about that. What I am worried about is the quality control. So far things have gone well. We rarely see any spam here. I like that to be maintained for the future.

if we see a huge pump in the prices like bitcoin we gonna have some spam around as per usual. More users will join so we got inevitable spam. For me though we got an evolution of spam going one. We got certain accounts that "spam" posts about Leo all the time. The reason is because that way they most likely earn money as we got the excitement around it because of the price pump, new features, wleo etc etc

With LEO worth close to 2 HIVE, the gap does close quickly.  

I have a feeling that, in a short period of time, 90% of those on Leofinance will earn more, on a monthly basis, in LEO than in Hive.

The best part is that there is a great deal of good interactions as well. It's real people doing the curation most of the time. I think this is doing a lot to keep the website filled with quality content. @leofinance managed to pull off real manual curation. That is a tremendous task.

The change in the reward curve made bot voting less profitable.  It also coincided with some other things that helped to generate excitement.

We have a tendency to point to one thing for the jump in growth but I think it was the totality of what is taking place.  One things adds to the others.
