__Few days ago I shared some great Wikipedia articles as a part of my [Extra-Curation #6](https://steemit.com/informationwar/@vimukthi/extra-curation-6-exploring-wikipedia-on-philosophy-war-history-metaphysics-and-getting-rid-of-the-myths-planted-in-you-mind) and that was about people. this tie I'm going to share and discuss subjects. Being sort of a polymath I like to spend a great deal of time digging into all sorts of topics and I'd like to let give you a glimpse into few of them. Let's start.__

# Eidetic Memory

__This one is also called  photographic memory but that isn't so accurate. Some people do remember things so well that you can call it  photographic memory. But that's just a few savants and their so called " photographic memory" tends to be focused on very few specific things. But maybe... just maybe there is a thing called photographic memory and we haven't come across something like that yet. Maybe meditation could lead us there. Maybe technology could help us with that. After all cameras and data storage is getting smaller and cheaper each year.__

__One really interesting thing is that eidetic memory has been found in 2 to 10 percent of children aged 6 to 12. But almost no adults posses this. There are multiple theories about this. my personal theory is that memorizing that something requires focus and the eve curious children have more focus to spare while the adults have to worry about wages, bills and political correctness. Adults also tend to drop their childhood fascinations and obsessions due to peer pressure, social norms "being practical" etc. It's like human beings are killing off their in born talents in the name of "being practical"  and "fitting in".__

__Not all are born with eidetic memory. But most of them loose it while growing up. Maybe you could do the reverse and develop it within you.__

# Dreamtime

__This is something I came across while I was engaged in this magnificent story driven smart, emotional and funny adventure game called Dreamfall: The Longest Journey which is a sequel to the masterpiece The Longest Journey (1999)__

>__The Dreaming is used to represent Aboriginal concepts of "time out of time," or "everywhen," during which the land was inhabited by ancestral figures, often of heroic proportions or with supernatural abilities. These figures were often distinct from "gods" as they did not control the material world and were not worshipped, but only revered. The concept of the dreamtime has subsequently become widely adopted beyond its original Australian context and is now part of global popular culture.__

>__The term is based on a rendition of the indigenous (Arandic) word alcheringa, used by the Aranda (Arunta, Arrernte) people of Central Australia, although it has been argued that it is based on a misunderstanding or mistranslation. William Stanner remarked: "why the blackfellow thinks of 'dreaming' as the nearest equivalent in English is a puzzle". Some scholars suggest that the word's meaning is closer to "eternal, uncreated."__

__So the word used by natives isn't exactly the equivalent of dreams.... or it is better t say that they understood "Dreams" in a much different light.__

# Tailored Access Operations
>__The Office of Tailored Access Operations (TAO) is a cyber-warfare intelligence-gathering unit of the National Security Agency (NSA). It has been active since at least circa 1998. TAO identifies, monitors, infiltrates, and gathers intelligence on computer systems being used by entities foreign to the United States.__

__I'm all for defense. If you have something valuable, there will be hose who want to take it or destroy it. But there is a point where defense becomes offense and here is the biggest pet peeve I have with every government intelligence program from USSA:__

__Our little blue planet officially has  7.6 billion people as of May 2018. USSA has a population of 326.9 million people. There are enough articles covering how the privacy of the citizens of United States and other developed countries are being invaded and how individuals are unfairly incriminated. But that's just how citizens are being treated. The "foreigners" get worse treatment. The logic goes as below:__

### Here are few mischiefs of TAO engineers 
- __Develops automated spyware__
- __Access Technologies Operations Branch: Reportedly includes personnel seconded by the CIA and the FBI, who perform what are described as "off-net operations", which means they arrange for CIA agents to surreptitiously plant eavesdropping devices on computers and telecommunications systems overseas so that TAO's hackers may remotely access them from Fort Meade.__
- __Specially equipped submarines, currently the USS Jimmy Carter, are used to wiretap fibre optic cables around the globe.__
- __The TAO has developed an attack suite they call QUANTUM. It relies on a compromised router that duplicates internet traffic, typically HTTP requests, so that they go both to the intended target and to an NSA site (indirectly). The NSA site runs FOXACID software which sends back exploits that load in the background in the target web browser before the intended destination has had a chance to respond__
