NFT Utility Analysis for Purchasing Rising Star Boosters

I have been a big supporter of @risingstargame NFTs compared to the rest of the NFTs we have been seeing in the industry. They have true artistic talent and creativity behind them and on top of all that, these can be used to generate passive income. You can rarely say this about other NFTs and many of the ones that earn you passive income has many drawbacks attached to them.

# The Boosters I'm Interested In

It is after purchasing two 1st Birthday Cake Cards and using them I became interested in Boosters more. 1st Birthday Cake allows me to set my Energy to 100% at once. From what I have seen it takes 6 hours and 20 minutes to restore Energy from 0% to 100%. Since I can use 1st Birthday Cake twice a day (12 hour cool down) I can save upto 12 hours 40 minutes a day per card.

STARBITS has a soft peg that allows 10,000 STARBITS to buy Booster Packs worth 5 HIVE. The peg has not help as good as DEC. The current state of the peg is 20,0000 STARBITS per 5 HIVE. 24 hour trading volume on HIVE-Engine is $273.171

# Exploring Alternatives
There are two ways to fully restore your energy. One of them is 1st Birthday Cake and the other is Cold Pizza Slice. The difference is that Cold Pizza Slice has a cool down of 24 hours. You do occasionally find Discarded Pizza after missions, but there are consumed immediately making the Energy restoration inefficient. That is when Pizza Box comes handy.

### Time To Compare Prices
Keep an eye on the amount of Cards issued. These numbers will significantly impact the price of the cards. If you are only looking for pure utility, then observing the price alone will be sufficient.

- Cold Pizza Slice is 2X cost efficient compared to 1st Birthday Cake
- I get at least 1 Discarded Pizza on most days
- Pizza Box to store them is 25% cheaper

The result is of course, my purchase of a Pizza Box which I consider the most cost efficient thing to do. If you had to buy 7500 STARBITS, it would have cost you 1.875 HIVE.

# Coffee Cups Are Cheaper; Not The Most Efficient

There is still a good use case for more advanced players. What happens with Coffee is that your Energy recovery rate gets increased for an hour. If your Energy level is already high, using a Cold Pizza Slice or 1st Birthday Cake will not be the most efficient use of your resources. At these times, using your Coffee that has been stored in the cup can be the extremely helpful.

### Casual Play - Smart Investing
You have now seen the numbers and know the best ways to spend your resources. For a newbie, I would say Cold Pizza Slice for 10,000 STARBITs (2.5 HIVE) or Pizza Box for 7,500 STARBITS (1.875 HIVE) would be the best place to spend their cryptocurrency. Wish you best of luck in the new bull market!
