If you are not really insanely young, you should remember those times where you had to figure out a bunch of distorted alphanumerics before you were allowed to do anything meaningful with a website. This was supposed to make sure that you are human. Along with time the process got easier and most of the time we just click on a box and we are good to go. Now we have reCAPTCHA v3 that __gets rid of the need for any friction with the user.__

I have no idea about the effects of this on privacy. But from a purely technical point of view, this stuff is awesome. Both users and the owners of the websites will have a much easier time.
