Engineering 101: A Transfer Station Using A FESTO PLC Module
Greetings to all of you, I would like to share my knowledge about Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) that our school teach us. Hoping that you will learn something from this article and you will share this to others. 

A Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) is an industrial computer control system that frequently monitors the state of input devices and will produce decisions based upon a custom program to control the state of output devices.

This is a machine of a FESTO PLC module.

## What is it?


To begin with, We have implement the Transfer station Block. The blocks are push by Cylinder 1 and transfer it on the processing Area then the Cylinder 2 will push the block and then Cylinder 2 may only return to its initial location or retract its piston if cylinder 1 will retract or back on the initial. Last if the sensor is off or it is no more block it will not start.

- 2	5/2-way Valves	
- 2	Double Acting Cylinders	
- Power Supply Module	
- 8DI/8DO Module	
- Air Tubes and Connector
- Air Compressor
- Ethernet Cable
- Laptop with CodeSys

## Conclusion


We enhance our skill in using some basic blocks in PLC like sensor and the other blocks. In addition, we learn the concept in the Transfer station that we see in some industries that uses such an equipment but we learned it in a basic way. In the whole, we successfully simulate and execute it correctly.
