En toda mi vida como Gamer me he considerado un jugador amante de los videojuegos, pero si nunca un experto, quizás en videojuegos deportivos suelo ser mucho más competitivo y dentro de mi grupo de amigos, pues me destaco bastante aunque ellos se nieguen a aceptarlo ya saben 😂, pero con videojuegos retro si que existe uno el cual dedique mucho tiempo durante la época que lo tuve, la saga de Tony Hawks Pro Skater, el mítico juego de Skate que alcanzo gran popularidad dentro de los videojuegadores, no solo gracias a la fama que alcanzo la cultura skate durante la época de los 90s y 2000s, si no por lo divertido ,entretenido e innovador del videojuego.
Para este articulo hablare de los dos primeros videojuegos de la saga, los que para mi sin duda son los mejores de la misma, desarrollado por Neversoft y distribuido por Activision, en su primera versión en agosto de 1999 y la segunda parte con mejores gráficos, mas cantidad de personajes, pistas y modos de juego estrenada en septiembre del 2000. El videojuego como modo principal tenia el de ir superando niveles, tu escogías tu personaje para la aventura y tendría que superar distintos retos a realizar por cada pista de patinaje o el modo libre, en donde tenias toda la libertad para aprender movimientos, descubrir secretos y interactuar con total libertad con el escenario.

Mi historia comenzó con un regalo de mi primo por mi cumpleaños, cabe destacara que mi primo es super fanático del Skate y que en ese momento de su juventud el lo disfruto mas que nunca, el durante esa época solía quedarse mucho en mi casa, debido a la relación muy apegada con mi hermana, bueno además de las tardes con la Playstation 1, el día que probamos los dos juegos de lo que él consideraba su ídolo Tony Hawk quedamos super fascinados con el videojuego, que desde un comienzo te sorprendía ya que el logo de Neversoft era un ojo a que se le clavaba una lanza, las libertades creativas de la época🤷♂, al iniciar la intro era un video creado por todos los patinadores del juego, acompañado de una banda sonora increíble y al entrar, el videojuego una obra genial en todos los sentidos, con grandes gráficos y jugabilidad para la época, que al principio se nos fue difícil pero que poco a poco el truco del juego se hacía fácil y muy entretenido.

La constancia hace al experto y eso era lo que hacíamos mi primo y yo, si bien mi primo se paso todas las pistas en el modo carrera, ambos pasábamos la gran mayoría de las tardes o jugando el modo libre para perfeccionar nuestro movimiento, además que hasta discutíamos por quien contralaría a Tony Hawk, pero teniendo en cuenta que era un niño el me dejaba usarlo más, un día en el mapa del centro comercial del Pro Skate 1 decidimos hacer una pequeña competencia contra reloj, en el cual el que tuviera más puntuación en el menor corto periodo tiempo se consideraba el mejor en el juego, cabe admitir que tenia todas las de perder, pero con mucho esfuerzo logre sacar la mejor puntuación, eso hizo que mi primo se enojara a mas no poder, claro que un niño en pocas medida te ganara era un insulto creo que su mente no lo dejo dormir en todo el día después de eso😂.
