# Hello Steemains,
#Contest-time! The aim of the contest is to see how **Esteem Android and the iOS app** has changed the way of blogging on steemit. Personally, I think that esteem is a great app, and it is easy to use, no matter you are pro or newbie in markdown style! The biggest factor that is making it awesome is the *portability that esteem provides*. You do not have to wait, to go home, open your laptop and start blogging! It is the quickest way of writing or decorating your post without wasting your time in learning markdown style, so here is my honest review and entry, let's see my journey and what I feel about esteem app!

# So how I started with Esteem...
- Back in November 2017, when I was fresher in steemit, I was finding a way by which I can write any post rapidly without any compromisation on blog beauty(Decorations).
- I do not use to carry my 2.2 kg laptop, as it 2.2 kg box is not portable anymore! Plus charging issues as well as you can't use it in public transportation especially in Mumbai, India due to rush and crowds.
- So I was looking for a solution, I went to play store to search for an app that is related to steemit. I found **Esteem** on #1 spot with 10k downloads in search feed, I clicked it and was looking for a review as I don't want to throw my Master key to any random app and lost my account. I installed it, put my login credentials and done!
- It took me about *5 minutes* to completely go through this app as there were no startup instructions or tutorials. I posted the first post that is without using a laptop, just me and my android smartphone, it took me 20 minutes to write and I was traveling in a public transport which was crowded as hell! ***Biggest blogging Problem solved, as now I can write and post my blog even from washroom!***
# So how was the experience...
- I like esteem because it fetches accurate results, especially reputation score! I have to go to Steemd.com to check my reputation score. In esteem, just click that menu button, present on the upper left corner, you will get your ***Accurate Reputation score + Your bandwidth, no need of steemd!***

- **Every account details in one place!** This is the best feature of esteem, I do not have to go to different sites to check my details. My steem wallet, sbd/steem everything in one place! No need to scroll up or down! Even when my account was created, the date on which I created, recent activities are also listed!

## Settings and Notifications!
- In early steemit version, I used to receive notification alerts on the website, however, the notification slowly gets disappeared and now there are no notification alerts on the steemit website. *Esteem* got the bunch of notification alerts for every basic to advance activity on your account! You can turn up or toggle it to on the notification alerts!
- Second most important thing is that it gets price and language conversion too. Night mode and nfsw are most countable features. However, there were some glitches related to price conversion but it is resolved and everything is accurate! It also allows multiple account login!
- You get the voting slider to adjust your voting weight! That's a pretty helpful thing that helps you to maintain your bandwidth.

## Marketplace and Secure transaction feature!
- *Esteem* app also got a catchy marketplace option with graphs and price table. Easy to use and handy! The transaction or transfer page is also catchy with **Secured QR code option**. Sometimes, a wrong transfer can be a big headache and this is caused by mistyping the receivers account name! *Esteem* got you covered, use QR code as it is faster and far safer!

# Last but important component - Editor!

- ### When I started blogging on steemit, the first thing that I have to learn is Markdown style and guides. It is not possible for me to memorize all the tags and symbols like #, ** **, *** ***, [](), -- , - , ***.
- In Esteem, I get every tags and symbol on my fingertip! Plus you got instructions on every symbol. Any incomplete post can be saved as a draft for future modification!
- After completing the post, insert tags and post it! Simple!
# Thanks to the Esteem developers...
- There were some issues related to price conversion and notification! Developers have already resolved it! It shows that the developers are active and giving their best to make esteem better than ever.
- It increased my blog productivity and my coverage/control on my account. I have to say that Esteem app is far better than Steemit website. I recommend you to give it a try, you will love it!
