Hoy quiero hablarles de un Cortometraje, y se que muchos no consumen este formato pero se los recomiendo ya que puedes encontrar joyas, donde nos entregan una gran historia en pocos minutos y nos dejan reflexionando.

<div class="phishy"> The Dollmaker</em></h1></div> cuenta la historia de un matrimonio que acaba de perder a su hijo de 4 años, de hecho el cortometraje comienza con la imagen del niño en el ataúd. 

La mamá acude a un fabricante de muñecos que le ofrece una solución mágica para que ellos puedan tener a su hijo de nuevo en su casa. El papá está incrédulo sobre este fabricante que tiene una apariencia algo macabra y mágico, pero decide apoyar a su esposa. 

**El fabricante le entrega en lo que parece un ataúd, un muñeco de trapo al ser tocado por la mamá se convierte en su hijo y la hace muy feliz.**

 Esta es la única recomendación que les dio el fabricante de muñecos a la pareja, luego de entregarles un pequeño reloj de arena.

No, no fue:  "No los mojes, que no les dé la luz directa y no les alimentes después de medianoche" esa es otra película  😜😜
 

**Además, solo funcionaba dentro de la casa, si salen de la casa solo verán al muñeco, no a su hijo.**

Lo que les cuento es el planteamiento, no podría contar más porque recuerden que se trata de un cortometraje de 9 minutos, así que no puedo seguir contando sin simplemente terminar de contar el cortometraje.

Te puedo decir que no se trata de un film de terror donde vamos a ver demonios, y a dar saltos de susto, pero si da miedo porque vemos como la mamá se obsesiona con un muñeco por no aceptar la muerte de su hijo, y vive una supuesta alegría al tenerlo y nosotros podemos ver lo terrible que es depender con locura y aferrarse a una mentira.

En mi casa siempre hablamos de las películas o series después que las vemos, o a los días cuando la pensamos mejor, y quiero decirte mi reflexión.

El duelo lo vivimos no solo por la pérdida de una familiar o amigo, también puede ser la pérdida de un bien material que sea de valor para nosotros, perder un trabajo, perder un objetivo o una meta por las que luchaste, perder una relación amorosa, etc. Son muchas cosas que podemos perder y que nos puede provocar un duelo, y está bien sentirlo, es una etapa pero hay que atravesarla y superarla, no estar en negación o aferrarnos a una mentira.

Tal vez no estemos preparados para superar un duelo, creo que nadie lo está, pero hay que pedir ayuda, o dejarnos ayudar. El verdadero terror es la vida misma, nuestra mente, nuestros miedos. Somos nuestro mayor aliado, pero también nuestro peor enemigo si permitimos que nuestra mente nos juegue en contra.

El tema de la depresión y la salud mental está muy de moda, y está genial porque es demasiado importante y tenemos que tomarnos nuestro tiempo y pensar como mejorar y asumir las cosas que nos pasan.

In my house we always talk about the movies or series after we see them, or on the days when we think about it better, and I want to tell you my reflection.

The topic of depression and mental health is very fashionable, and it's great because it's too important and we have to take our time and think about how to improve and accept the things that happen to us.

Les recomiendo este corto, es buenísimo. Creo que después de verlo te gustará explorar este formato de cortometraje y lo consumirás más.



Es una historia de ficción, pero el argumento son sentimientos reales y muy fuertes como la pérdida de un ser familiar, el duelo y la negación, esto en mi opinión es lo que la hace aterradora porque en ese punto nos vemos reflejados en los protagonistas y hace que nos preguntemos sobre que tanto nos parecemos a ellos.
