Immutable X and GameStop partnering in GameFi!

I have been a lucky guy to receive the ImmutableX Airdrop back in the days and I am a Gods Unchained player and fan. So I believe this is a great news. IMX Layer 2 is definitely proving to be the go to place for Game/NFT Developers looking for a way to have cheap/no fees and **still** using the Ethereum Network. 

The way you use their own Deposit/Withdrawal is different from any Bridge and therefore they claim it is more *secure*. No hack bas been happening since their launch, but never say never in Crypto :D

#### What is GameStop announcing/building?

They plan to develop their marketplace which will include:

>“billions of low-cost, in-game assets that can easily be bought and sold,”

They will use Starkware (zero-knowledge proof technology)
* Partner with Trace and Cool Effect to offset its remaining carbon footprint
* 100mn fund dedicated to Web3 game development and its ecosystem. It follows other similar announcement from Mechanism Capital, Gala Games, Solana Ventures and Hashed...

Very good news for IMX has other AAA games should launch very soon (Guild of Guardians) and increase volume of NFTs being traded on their marketplace.

As you mentioned, Gamestop got a $100M grant from Immutable based on this partnership alone. A lesser-known fact is that they [dumped $30M immediately](https://twitter.com/polarply/status/1489572631649083394) upon receiving the funds.

Good news for IMMUTABLE X, I think this company suffered a lot initially.  The fact that it initially relied on Ethereum had almost immobilized it.
