Where did the Luna Foundation Treasury go?
Hi HODLers,

**The plot of next week will probably be again LUNA, UST and the reboot announced (still details to be finalized).**

I honestly do not care that mich but Crypto Twitter seems to still look at it. I have seem people showing that if you bought the dip you could have 10x / 20x, etc...

Well... Have fun with that, I am not touching any of this.

What I will look at next week is the current assessment to determine:
**1. How much money is left in the LFG treasury?**
**2. How the money that was used to "protect the PEG" has actually been used**

In a recent article, we did learn a bit more on where we might be today

**Reserves before the dePEG:**

* 80,394 BTC, worth $3.5 billion

On the morning of May, 9th when the first depegging happened:
* LFG announced they will use $750mn with trading firms to help UST retain PEG
* 22,189 BTC (worth ~$750 million at this time) was sent from a Bitcoin address linked to LFG, to a new address. The same evening another 30,000 BTC (worth ~$930 million at the time) was also sent to this address
* Finally, a bit later the entirety of this **52,189 BTC was moved to a single account at U.S. crypto exchange Gemini**, via several bitcoin transactions, according to Elliptic

#### How much was left in the treasury on May,10th at 1:AM UTC?

* 28,205 BTC were left in Terra’s reserves
* It was later moved to a Binance account 

#### The question is where do we sit now and could we have some transparency on how everything was used during this mess?

First of all, I believe Do Kwon really sucked during that period of time as he went into hiding for 48 hours, just barely publishing 2 meaningless tweets of 1 sentence each.

He tweeted on Friday, that nobody from the foundation profited from all of this and that they were documented how the LFG BTC reserves were used during the deppegging event.

I have to say... I am not really confident we will get transparency from LFG or Do Kwon, but who knows; I could be wrong!

I might be lucky and get some airdrop of the next chains token, cuz I bought into this shit before the last halt of the blockchain. It will be hard for Terra to win back the trust they had.

5 years this has been happening to me, it started here, around people that are still here. Homeland security has done nothing at all, they are not here to protect us. The damage was enormous but it would be interesting to see how they go about executing their re-building plans. I honestly hope they can do something about it for the sake of their investors.

This is a time to be optimistic and have faith though a lot of things might come up even trust will not be just as what's happening already where peoples investment in Luna gone to zero but there is a hope if not given up. Even at this point there are a lot of people who will gain. Thanks for this update. Lo many are depressed but things are going back to normalcy

I don't really think anything they do right now will help the people who lost their money but I guess figuring out how it is spent would be nice to know.

Details are out... so many articles talking about it... hoping for compenation if luna gives for UST = 1$ that all...if they do that also, they will hae some respect because lots of people holding ust lose out and many are small hardworking people eith little money like me):

hmmm... to be honest I feel UST was targeted...where a big whale dumped loads of UST and triggered the problems with the falling price of Luna... and if that did not happen, perhapes this crisis may not have taken place.

But flaws were there with how centralised this UST was, coz its peg maintainance depended on the burning and swapping activities of LFG...

Dramas...its also entertaining, its unfortunate i can't enjoy it to the full extent being affected myself... thankfully, I did not put all my money on UST and Terra but quite a significant amount, I really put a small amount initially but things changed.

Ok... lets see, if UST gets its peg back also, it won't be bad for me...had a smaller amount of Luna and lot of UST basically...anyway!!

Imagine if tommorow USD crashes, it will distroy so many people man, and that day is not far off and well...shrugs...dooms day for many!

Wild times in crypto!  It's hard for me to imagine Luna's community and how they must feel, but I bet they are all trying to brain storm a way to keep their project alive, just as the Hive Community would.

Yup, there are proposals thrown out by the LFG  but there is also every competing chain trying to get their projects and developers! 

It is definitely better to just watch it from the outside though…
