A bug's life - Macros of cute bugs - attempt to bring down 'Fear factor' in our mind
> Bugs are not just in code - they are in real life too. 😀  

To the software coders amongst us, a bug merely is irritating - a thing to be quickly eliminated.  It is not so in real life.  We hardly ever take a look around and notice the beauty of bugs.  It takes a macro lens to notice bugs - for example - this red ant trying to cross a rivulet of water...

Spiders are all around us to and some of them look cute...

Especially - jumping spiders, with their large cute eyes, make awesome macro subjects.  Take this one for example -

Jumping spiders have very interesting color combinations and look like striped race cars sometimes.  Take this example -

The best part about photographing Jumping spiders is that even on rainy days, when I can not go for any wildlife photography outdoors, I find jumping spiders right in my backyard.  Sometimes even in my own house! 😀

I found the same species of jumping spider outdoors too - on a bush

I hope these cute pictures help to increase awareness of bugs and bring down the "bugs are all scary'  fear factor.

**None of the pictures are focus stacked.  Since the subjects are constantly moving around, I like to just take one shot.  It is not easy though, to focus a macro lens, with it's wafer thin depth of field, to capture nice pictures of bugs - especially when they are just waiting to  disappear under a leaf or branch!**

I am sure many experienced members of our #photographylovers community have done far superior macros. I would love to hear the experiences and get some guidance.  I request you to comment freely and share your opinions, tips and experiences.

Omg all of them are amazing... What F do you use.. I'm usually on F13 to F14  Ss150 or 125 and   iso150 or 100.. Built I'm flash with pringles tube defuser.. That defuser gives me amazing lite with great sharpness on FQ

@anitahorvatirl  Thank you so much. I use F14 usually and 200 ISO max with 1/150 shutter.  I use a flash hood with diffuser which I have built.  Will try the pringles can one too.  Thanks

my best results with macro are early in the morning when they are  still cold  from the night.
i use macro lenses , reversed lenses and since two weeks ultra macro with 2.5 -5 times magnification.
flashlight and steady  hands are a must for me max iso depends on camera some cameras are better at iso 200  others at 100 most of the time i don't go above 400.

it works for also when i go outside after or during the rain depends on the amount of rain that is falling but when they get a little  wet they can't fly either .
