### Route through the French-Navarrese Pyrenees

This time it's time to tell about an adventure, as I call my routes, on my new blue bike, the Suzuki GSX-S1000GT. A long route that lasted all day and was almost 800km of pure enjoyment.
>Esta vez toca contar una aventura como las llamo yo a mis rutas, sobre mi nueva montura azul, la suzuki GSX-S1000GT. Una ruta larga que duró todo el dia y fueron casi 800km de puro disfrute.

We were going to make this long journey enjoying the road, curve by curve, its beautiful scenery, it was summer but there were stretches that seemed to change to winter. This time I was not travelling alone but surrounded by good friends, with whom I enjoyed their company, and they guided me along the way, so I just had to relax and drive.

>Este largo viaje lo íbamos a realizar disfrutando de la carretera, curva a curva, de su bello paisaje, era verano pero había tramos que parecía que cambiábamos a invierno. Esta vez no viajaba solo si no rodeado de buenos amigos, con los que disfrute de su compañía, y a su vez me guiaban por el camino, así que solo tenia que relajarme y conducir.

Making just the right number of stops to refuel or have a coffee, we slowly made our way through our adventure. We couldn't linger too long in each place, as there were too many kilometres for just one day and on roads where you couldn't run very fast.

>Haciendo las paradas justas pertinentes para repostar o echar un café, avanzábamos poco a poco en nuestra aventura, no nos podíamos entretener mucho en cada lugar, ya que eran demasiados kilómetros para un solo día y por carreteras en las que no se podía correr mucho.

As we wanted to enjoy nature, we took some food to eat outdoors, surrounded by mountains, animals and wonderful views. We each brought a sandwich and something else to share, so that we could have a good time chatting and enjoying the food.

>Como queríamos disfrutar de la naturaleza, pues nos llevamos comida para comer al aire libre, rodeado de las montañas, animales y maravillosas vistas. Cada uno nos trajimos bocadillo y aparte algo mas para compartir, así pasar un buen momento conversando y disfrutando de la comida.

After this stop we continued our journey, a few minutes before a flock of sheep had stopped in the middle of the road and could not cross it, so until they left we could not pass. While they were leaving I took the opportunity to do a little ride on the bike, so that you could enjoy the road as much as I did.
>Después de esta parada continuamos el viaje, pocos minutos antes un rebaño de ovejas se habían parado en mitad de la carretera y no pudiendo atravesarla, así que hasta que no se fueron no pudimos pasar. Mientras se iban aproveche para hacer un pequeño en marcha sobre la moto, para que disfrutéis de la carretera como lo hacia yo.

We continued on into France and then back out into Spain and from there back into France and then back into Spain again. Little by little the weather became colder and colder, and when we reached the higher mountainous areas, the fine rain and the fog did not help. At the Larra-Belagua pass the fog became very intense and the driving quite dangerous.

>Proseguimos y nos adentramos en Francia para luego volver a salir a España y de ahí a Francia para nuevamente volver a España. Poco a poco el tiempo se tornaba mas frio, al llegar a zonas montañosas mas altas, la fina lluvia y la niebla no ayudaban, en el puerto de Larra-Belagua la niebla se hizo muy intensa y la conducción bastante peligrosa.

In this freezing cold we quickly got on our machines and set off towards sunny areas, the most impressive thing was that after a couple of bends we were dazzled by a marvellous summer sun. We couldn't understand how the weather changed radically in just a few metres.
>Con este frio helador nos subimos rápidamente en nuestras maquinas y partimos hacia zonas mas soleadas, lo mas impresionante fue que después de hacer un par de curvas, un maravilloso sol de verano nos deslumbro. No entendíamos como en tan pocos metros cambiaba el tiempo radicalmente.

We arrived at the village of Isaba in Navarre, where we stopped for a coffee to warm up. I have been to this village several times and it has its charm, it is a typical mountain village but with bars and restaurants where you can enjoy what the surroundings have to offer.

>Llegamos al pueblo de Isaba en navarra, allí hicimos una parada a tomar café para entrar en calor. En este pueblo he estado varias veces y tiene su encanto, es el típico pueblo de montaña pero con locales de hostelería para disfrutar tranquilamente de lo que ofrece el entorno.

And we head back into France, all day on the bike, going up and down mountains, going in and out of Spain, I'm having a great time. We were about to climb another mountain pass, when we saw some cyclists start to warn us of something, and suddenly the road was blocked. A motorhome, trying to make way on the narrow road, went off the road and couldn't continue. The crane was already there and pulling it out, we took the opportunity to rest and take some photos.

>Y nos volvemos a adentrar en Francia, todo el día sobre la moto, subiendo y bajando montañas, saliendo y entrando de España, me lo paso genial. Nos disponíamos a subir otro puerto más, vemos que unos ciclistas nos empiezan a avisar de algo, y dé repente carretera bloqueada. Una autocaravana al intentar dejar paso en la estrecha carretera, se salió de ella y no podía continuar. La grúa ya estaba allí y tirando de ella la logro sacar, nosotros aprovechamos para descansar y hacernos unas fotos.

We reached the penultimate pass called col de marie le blanc, stopped, took photos as usual, chatted about the anecdotes that had just happened to us or the fantastic scenery we had seen.

>Culminamos el penúltimo puerto llamado col de marie le blanc, paramos hicimos fotos como de costumbre, charlamos sobre las anécdotas que nos acababan de pasar o del paisaje fantástico que habíamos visto.

We were getting closer, we were heading for the Portalet pass, which borders Spain. The kilometres were already weighing heavily on us, but the experiences we had had would stay with us forever.

>Ya nos quedaba menos, nos dirigíamos al puerto del Portalet que hace frontera con España, los kilómetros nos pesaban ya, pero las experiencias que habíamos vivido se quedarían con nosotros para siempre.

We had already covered about 600km, all we had to do was refuel our machines, and get our strength back by having a bite to eat before the last mile, about 200km at a stretch.

>Ya llevábamos cerca de 600km solo nos quedaba repostar nuestras maquinas, y coger fuerzas picando algo antes de la ultima kilometrada, unos 200km del tirón.

Well we arrived at our destination, after this great route we only had to have dinner all together, I ordered myself a big hamburger. The body needed energy to recover after such a long journey.

>Bueno ya llegamos a nuestro destino, después de esta gran ruta solo nos quedaba cenar todos juntos, una gran hamburguesa me pedí. El cuerpo necesitaba energías para recuperarlas después de tan largo viaje.
