How You Can Guarantee Your Children Get an Inheritance From You

As the cost of living and vanishing social safety nets makes saving money even harder, how can we ensure our children get something when we pass on?

The cost of long-term care and hospitalization can be between $5-10k per month on the high side, and we do not want to burden our loved ones if we have memory care needs.

What can we do to leave our children something to help them?

The answer is to buy them a downpayment for real estate and set aside a trust for them when they get older.  Get them something that our society values and prices highly.

Every month, set aside $100 for a real estate downpayment and education.  I can't promise I will have a huge nest egg to pass on, but I can help them make adult milestones when they need it.
