Hey guys, good morning, this is Val Campbell, I wanted to take some time and share my core values I know that's not something that we hear often enough from people but I want to be transparent and I want to share my three core values.

they are authenticity integrity and leadership and I want to talk to you just real briefly what those mean to me kind of give a definition talk a little bit about how I see them you know authenticity is really the quality of being authentic it's a genuineness if you will dependability a trustworthiness for me it's all that but it's being real it's not being fake it's not living a fake life so what I do I try to be very transparent about what I do I try to be authentic my background is in business

I've had plus years in business from retail to insurance agency management to fortune management to outside sales so I've got a varied background not being fake and put on the line what I'm doing on the writing with my novels I'm proud of what I do so I'm trying to live an authentic life by doing that

being that and sharing who I am with people so again part of that is just that's part of my authenticity integrity is really the quality of being honest and having strong moral principles.

I'm a believer in Jesus Christ I'm a Christian so that's kind of my moral foundation there moral uprightness it's always doing what's right of course and looking out for the interests of others and I think we can all agree integrity is lacking out 

there you know in our world in general certainly in the business world but I want to be someone that upholds and supports integrity as far as who I am what I say and what I do 

I'm not going to tell anybody something that I don't know about I'm not going to tell something that's not true I'm not going to direct somebody somewhere that's possibly going to hurt them or otherwise damage them you know personally or financially so part of being integrity again it's doing what's right it's saying what's right even at the risk of you developing my business person he's always telling people.

what the right thing is to do for their situation so I want to hold that the last one leadership I'm gonna take a little bit more time on but certainly leadership encompasses authenticity and it encompasses integrity and leadership

couple my favorite quotes from John Maxwell “everything rises or falls on leadership” that's so true isn't it, if your personal life or family life your church your business your nonprofit everything rises or falls on leadership those entities can't grow if the leadership level is low and then john max Wallace's leadership has influenced nothing more nothing less as the leaders we are trying to positively influence people to go in a certain direction and that's where leadership is influence leadership again it's authenticity.

integrity it's helping empower people it's looking out for the interests of others it's encouraging people and uplifting and that's an integral part of who I am and what I'm about because leadership again is also very lacking out in the business world I could probably name on one hand the number of two leaders I've met out there in my plus years in the business world and at least two of them are in my business so leadership meet we need leadership out in the world today.

 everywhere it's lacking and again by leadership I'm distinguishing that from you know management or being a boss they may have those qualities but a leader is very different from a boss or a manager so we want to set that apart so leadership is integral to what I do authenticity integrity are also kind of the foundations of what I do as a leader
