# ¡Bienvenidos a un nuevo post!

Hoy quiero empezar esta nueva serie de post en los que voy a traer temas de Splinterlands que a mi me causan mucha curiosidad por alguna razon, y decidi investigar sobre ellos y analizarlos para que aqui todos hagamos un debate respecto a eso, hoy voy a empezar con el tema del titulo del post, las cartas sin ataque. Todos sabemos que en el juego hay tres tipos de ataque distintos pero hay cartas que al igual que los invocadores, no pueden atacar porque no poseen estadisticas de ataque, entonces uno se podria preguntar:
 
* ¿Para que sirven entonces?

Cuando empece a jugar yo pensaba que eran muy debiles y que no servian para nada y que equivocada estaba, estas cartas tienen muchisimo potencial y hoy lo analizaremos a fondo en este post, espero que te guste.

Today I want to start this new series of posts in which I am going to bring Splinterlands topics that I am very curious about for some reason and that I am interested in, and I decided to investigate about them and analyze them so that here we all make a debate about it, today I am going to start with the topic of the title of the post, the cards without attack. We all know that in the game there are three different types of attack but there are cards that like summoners, can not attack because they do not have attack stats, then one might ask:

When I started playing I thought they were very weak and that they were useless and how wrong I was, these cards have a lot of potential and today we will analyze it in depth in this post, I hope you like it.

# Empecemos por la estadistica. 

Hay un grupo de cartas en el juego que en nivel 1 no tienen ataque pero conforme van subiendo de nivel, este hecho cambia. todas pertenecen a las ediciones Alfa y Beta del juego, junto con las Rewards/Promo de sus respectivas ediciones. Esto no ha vuelto a ocurrir desde Untamed donde todas las cartas que no tienen ataque, jamas lo tendran en ningun nivel. Asi que hablemos primero de estas cartas que ganan ataque mientras van subiendo sus niveles.

# Let's start with the statistics. 

There is a small group of cards in the game that at level 1 have no attack of any type but as they level up, this fact changes and acquire some type of attack. They all belong to the Alpha and Beta editions of the game, along with the Rewards/Promo of their respective editions. This has not happened since Untamed where all cards that have no attack will never have attack at any level. So let's talk first about these cards gaining attack as they go up in levels.

Algo en comun entre todas estas cartas es que son mas un apoyo al equipo y la importancia de su ataque queda en un segundo plano excepto por los de daño magico. Incluso Furious Chicken es mas apoyo que ataque porque al no costar mana, puedes agregarlo siempre que te sea posible y de alguna forma tener un golpe ''gratis'' y si no consideras eso un apoyo, entonces debes replantearte algunas cosas.

Hablando solamente de sus ediciones creo que Divine Healer, Armorsmith y Goblin Shaman son las mas fuertes por los bonos que otorgan a las cartas, pero en general todas estas son unos apoyos buenisimos para tu equipo y todas cuestan muy poco mana.

Something in common between all these cards is that they are more of a support to the team and the importance of their attack is in the background except for the magic damage ones. Even Furious Chicken is more support than attack because since it doesn't cost mana, you can add it whenever possible and somehow have a ''free'' hit and if you don't consider that a support, then you should rethink some things.

Talking only about their editions I think Divine Healer, Armorsmith and Goblin Shaman are the strongest because of the bonuses they give to the cards, but in general all of them are great supports for your team and all of them cost very little mana.

# Las que nunca atacan.

Desde la edicion Untamed han ido apareciendo varias cartas que como ya dije, nunca tienen ataque de ningun tipo, son todas estas:

Estas cartas amplían ese rol de soporte para los equipos y empiezan a aparecer estrategias en las que se pueden utilizar también como Tanque, aunque su rol inicial de ser un soporte normalmente se mantiene en prácticamente todas estas cartas.

# ¿Cómo usarlas?

Al utilizar estas cartas debes tener claro el hecho de que no van a atacar, asi que tienes que compensar eso de alguna forma, esa es la razon por la que estas cartas tienen otras ventajas. Baakjira, Lord Arianthus, Peaceful Giant o Gelatinous Cube son ejemplos de tanques que tienen muchisima vida o mucho aguante, la idea es justamente esa, que se mantengan en la primera posicion aguantando de todo.

Tambien hay mini tanques para batallas de mana bajo, como Pelacor Conjurer que es excelente contra magia, Naga Brute es perfecto para Melee y Ranged, y lo mismo para cartas como Ritfwing o Failed Summoner, entre otras.

Otras tienen muy poca vida pero tienen habilidades demasiado buenas para servir de apoyo a tu equipo y ademas, estas cartas se vuelven de las mejores del juego cuando aparecen rulesets como Equalizer. Albatroos, Chaos Agent o Meerdali Guardian son para mi las que mejor representan esto, porque en una batalla de mana alto con Equalizer pueden iniciar con mas de 10 puntos de vida y esta carta cura al tanque, repara armadura y ademas, aumenta la vida de tus cartas.

# How to use them?

When using these cards you must be clear about the fact that they are not going to attack, so you have to compensate that somehow, that is the reason why these cards have other advantages. Others cards on the list have very low life points but all of them have very good abilities to support your whole team and besides, these cards become some of the best in the game when rulesets like Equalizer appear on battles. Albatroos, Chaos Agent or Meerdali Guardian are for me the ones that best represent this, because in a high mana battle with Equalizer they can start with more than 10 health and this card heals the tank, repairs armor and also increases the life of your cards.

Failed Summoner es un tanque anti magia pero no por eso deja de ser bueno para enfrentar a otro tipo de equipos, como esta batalla en la que se combina la curacion mas una alta vida para una batalla con Little League.

Aqui podemos ver como Kelp Initiate es usado como un tanque señuelo, que esta ahi para comerse el daño inicial mientras las cartas con daño verdadero estan detras de el, seguras y listas para acabar con esta batalla.

La combinacion de habilidades de Chaos Agent lo hacen util para usarlo de tanque porque puede esquivar todo tipo de ataques y cuesta muy poco mana, es por eso que se suele ver mucho en batallas de rango oro hacia arriba.

De entrada puedes ver claramente la ventaja de uno y la desventaja de otro ¿o no? El Pelacor Conjurer del jugador Megabloop le va a devolver el daño a todos los enemigos que le ataquen en esta partida, mientras que el Pelacor Conjurer de Marcurio se va a llevar un golpe de 5 puntos de daño que seguramente lo va a matar. Ahi esta el punto de quiebre de la partida y la importancia de elegir bien las cartas que se juegan.

Yo creo que estas cartas estan muy infravaloradas en Bronce y Plata porque no hay muchas que tengan habilidades o estadisticas realmente buenas que te inviten a utilizarlas, personalmente me gustaria qeu las batallas en estos rangos fueran un poco mas competitivas porque no es facil encontrar un ruleset que te deje crear una estrategia compleja, no importa que tan bueno seas. Y estas cartas sin ataque sin duda estaran en muchas de esas estrategias, pruebalas si no lo has hecho, vas a darte de lo buenas que pueden ser.

I think all these set of cards are very undervalued over the game but even more in Bronze and Silver because there are not many that have really good skills or stats that invite you to use them, personally I would like the battles in these ranks to be a little more competitive because it is not easy to find a ruleset that lets you create a complex strategy, no matter how good you are. And these no attack cards will no doubt be in many of those strategies, try them if you haven't, you will realize how good they can be.

!1UP Great post! Many of these cards it is worth it to rent/buy two of them like Furious Chicken and Creeping Ooze. So you can use in Keep your Distance or in Up Close & Personal as well.
